Disclaimer: I'm a Walmart associate and might get rewarded for this revew (but not necessarily). This being said, I actually own this clamp and use it often. Hope it helps someone to make a decision. Whoever works alone in a shop is well aware that a very special vocabulary is employed when trying to hold two pieces tight at a right angle, putting screws in pockets and attempting to position a driver. This clamp promotes said vocabulary to PG-13 and allows children and spouses around while working on a project. It works pretty much like a standard clamp from the pocket hole jig, except it has one cylindrical leg that fits into a pocket hole, thus working as a much needed third hand. Tension could be adjusted so it's not kicking like a horse or crushes softwoods. The throat is about 6" deep which is plenty for most projects. All in all, while probably not an essential accessory, it's a definitely useful addition that will make your joints tight, well worth the money.
The ease of use in combining two separate pieces of wood without having to adjust the clamps makes life that much easier. I don't know how anyone in the woodworking world can function without these clamps. A great product.

If you have not bee in woodworking for a while, you might be surprised that a simple clamp can cost over $25. Good clamps allow for precision, stay tight, are made of strong/durable materials – that costs money. Kreg is a wood working brand that I know and trust, so I was happy to review this KHCRA Right Angle Clamp recently. So unlike a c-clamp or a pipe clamp, this clamp is really useful when you are doing big joinery for a box, table, etc. After you use your kreg jig to make your holes, you can use this clamp to hold the two pieces together on your workbench. The rod side of the clamp will fit into your hole made with the jig and then you put the part with the swivel against the flat side of the bottom, you then lock it in. You can then drill the rest of your joints together, get them nice and tight, take out the clamp and do your last hole. Because this clamp is strong and tight, this is better than trying to make your own right angle templates or jigs to hold your pieces together (you will stick get some wobble and could crack more fragile pieces). If you aren't sure if you need this, go to Kreg's website and they have a video showing you it's exact use if my description wasn't clear enough for you. Avoid the frustration and check out this clamp – worth it if you will be doing a lot of joinery, pocket hold construction, furniture, etc. I am a Walmart associate writing this review as part of a contest.
