[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] have used this bit for year's and when I am looking and find them I try too buy two or more try to have extra on hand just in case when doing a project late in the night.. This bit is hard to find just buy it's self, the router bit set is hard to find too if in the market for one

I've used this bit to cut 1/4" channels in various projects, using the plunge-router attachment. This bit could really use an upgrade to be more truly useful. A flush roller-bearing would be ideal. Then it could be used to follow routing templates. As is, it can only clumsily follow an external guide on an attachment. Careful, this makes a loud, high-pitched whine when used for plunge routing. Much more painful sound than a standard plunge router.
