luckily, this series has gotten better as it goes along. The beginning started rough around the edges, it has progressed into a smooth running series with good actor content, topics and continuity. The boxed set from Walmart has great prices, but ship time is slow (you need to order 2 weeks before you want it) and damage to packaging is normal upon arrival. Usually at least one dvd has skipping issues in ALL of the star trek series bought through Walmart, don't know if that is a fluke or not.
