It works well and has more output than the original. The first one died after 13 years, allegedly because of buildup in the heat exchanger.
I wish I would have made the change long ago this unit works great our family is very happy
I love that there is always hot water and it last the whole shower.

My unit rattles when it's on and it's irritating. When I hand squeeze the case, it stops. When it drives me crazy enough, I'll fashion a clamp for it. This is my second unit. My first unit lasted more than 15 years. This one is more powerful and I hope it lasts as long, but the Noritz techs were amazed that my first unit lasted so long. So far (about 5 months) my unit is producing hot water as expected.
This tankless water heater is quite efficiency. The only issue is the hot water flow contains lots of debris. The debris plug up the filter in shower head, sink and the washing machine hot water inlet. I checked the cold water inlet filter, it was as clean as a whistle. My previous house had a 40 gallon water tank, never seen this problem.
