I received my TCL 12,000 BTU white window air conditioner that has wifi! This ac is kind of heavy but not so heavy you can't lift it. I installed it in my bedroom window. It comes with foam stripping to finish the install with. This ac is really nice. It comes with a remote control that you can adjust the temp, on/off, set the timer and a few other things. The feature I love best is you can use the wifi feature. Setting up wifi was super easy. I used an app that I was already using for other items and it worked well. It even works with Alexa!! So handy as I use that feature a lot!! You can control the ac with the remote or by using the app which is nice if you are not at home or “lazy” like me. There is a timer and sleep option/feature. This will cool up to 550 sq. ft. size room. There is also an Eco Mode that will save energy. There is a nice digital display that you can turn off or on. There are adjustable vents to change the air flow. There are 3 mode settings on this unit - Cool, Dehumidify and Fan. Really great ac!! The size is 21.50 x 19.76 x 15.16 Inches.
I received the TCL 12,000 BTU White Window Air Conditioner With WI-FI and we are loving it. Finally broke down and knew we needed a window unit for our back bedroom, it just never seems to get cool enough. The sun sets right in that room and the heat is sometimes unbearable, not anymore. I am excited to report that is no longer. We've already been in the 90's here in TX and we got to really test it before summer comes and it worked! No more hot humid bedroom. My husband said it was super easy to install and get started up, the instructions were very helpful and walked him through each step. I set up the wifi and the app and it is all working seamlessly. The remote stays right by the bedside in case I need to change the temperature in the middle of the night. It looks a lot more modern than the older kind and actually blends in more with the white color. Our first electricity bill since set up wasn't that bad either, especially with us all being home. I am very happy with the air conditioning unit and am sleeping more comfortably since.
This air conditioner shipped in a very secure and easy to unpack package. Once the plastic straps are cut, the whole box (top and sides) just lifts off of the bottom and all that remains is the unit sitting on the bottom padding and box bottom. This makes it very easy to remove the unit and pick it up and place it in the desired window, etc. It also comes with the expandable side pieces to fill in the remainder of the window gap and foam strips to seal off all around the unit and side pieces. Unpacking and installing in the window took less than 20 minutes. I do recommend having two people to lift and install the unit. The rating says it will cool up to 550 sq ft, but it seems like it will handle a lot larger space than that. Setting the temperature on 72 degrees seems to be the right setting for a warm day. The air conditioner has digital controls which look neat and modern, are accurate, and work great. They seem to stay more stable and accurate than the old units' mechanical controls. This unit also includes a remote control which is very convenient and easy to use. The unit does seem a little noisy, but I would expect that from an in-room unit that has the cooling capacity and power that this one does. Also, tried the economy mode and like some other reviews stated it does not cool as well nor keep a constant temperature as well. Overall, this is a great air conditioning unit.
Omg! I was really impressed with this air conditioner! It has WiFi technology on it, which is something I've never seen on a window unit until I got this one. It cools up to 550 sq ft and has a eco feature on it that shut off the compressor to help save money on your electric bill. It has remote control and a easy to read digital display on the unit. Keeps the house nice and cool in these hot Texas days. I'm very pleased with the performance of this product and would definitely recommend it.
This window unit is very basic on its design, the install is super easy, I did it by myself. I have not heard of the tcl brand but I was pleasantly surprised at how hard it blows! It will get my living room and kitchen frigid cold! I live in Florida so that is extremely hard to do during these hot summer days! This is an awesome air condition and the prove is fantastic for what your getting!!
This TCL 12,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner is not only powerful, it is quiet! This was easy to install and will cool up to 550 sq. ft. My house has a living room that is open to the dining room, which is open to the kitchen. My house has the worst placement for a sliding glass door to the backyard because during the summer, the sun shines right through these glass doors and heats up the kitchen, dining, and living room areas. The heat this generates is no match for my rooftop evaporative cooler and house fans. We are not even in summer yet, and the inside of my house has already hit the low 80s. This window air conditioner cooled my house down quietly and efficiently. The ability to use the remote is definitely an added bonus and the simple maintenance is another plus. The eco mode does its job well and conserves energy while maintaining the desired temperature. Overall, I am very happy with this product and definitely recommend it.

It comes with everything you need to set it up, even the foam stripping to properly seal off the side panels and prevent any hot air from creeping in through possible gaps. This window AC cools rooms of up to 550 square feet and has many useful features, such as an on/off timer, which lets you select a time in advance for the unit to turn on and run for a certain amount of hours, then automatically shut off. Another great feature is the built in eco mode, which allows the AC to save energy by turning off the compressor on its own when the desired temperature has been reached, and restarting when needed. This air conditioner can be set as fan only, in cooling mode or dehumidifying mode. If you choose the Auto setting the unit will automatically switch to one of these three settings according to the temperature and the unit settings that have been selected. This tcl window air conditioner has a basic look to it but has the added perks. It is able to cover a room up to 550 sq. Ft. 20x25. Taking it out the box it seemed a little on the heavy side. One feature i found very cool was that i am able to control my a.c. Thru my phone. It does also come with a controller but I'd rather the wifi mode. Setting it up was easy only issue for me was it was just a bit heavy. Great product. Blows air so good and cold i need to stop it at times. It has an 8 way air direction which does get every direction in my room.
I placed this Ac unit in a back room that was added on to my house. The central unit that I have in my house is not in the added room. The AC Unit will arrive in its original package. They may leave it on the porch because its not required that anyone signs. I was worried about someone taking mine. Luckily they didn't. It is very heavy, to heavy for one person to me. It was easy to install and quickly cooled down the room. The room is not a very big space but it is also not small. It is a nice size for a room, and it started cooling the room within 15 mins of it running you could notice the difference already. It is quiet and cooling the area I needed it for without a problem. I would recommend this product to anyone if they are searching for a unit to cool rooms.
