I love this humidifier, better than others I had

I have had this humidifier for 3-4 years now. I first only used it when I got sick...but last winter I took it to my office and used it daily to keep the dry skin and air at bay. This winter it's stayed home with me all winter and I use it daily to keep the air at home not so dry. I love it! I just fill the tank and let it go on low...when I'm sick I move it to my bedroom and put it on high while I sleep...I see a COMPLETE difference! I am mad at myself though...it was late and I went to refill the tank for the night (I'm getting a cold) and dropped the fill tank....it only cracked in one corner...and is only leaking a little...but I can't risk it leaking all over...so I'm now online looking at what stores have it in stock to go buy another first thing tomorrow. I think it is a really good value for this product. There are more expensive ones that do the same thing...I'll stick with this one until it proves me otherwise. I like that there is no filter and just simple vinegar cleans it. I only cleaned it once (last year) so it went a long time without a cleaning and it's been working fine all this year.

great product. use every day on second year of use. pretty much around the clock. I have hard water. does get a build up on heating element. but I use it on low and when I need to clean it I put it an high for awhile and it breaks it off. one fill will last 14 hours on low. Going to wal mart today to get one to give to a friend

I bought this a few months ago and have used it daily. Today it is leaking and can no longer use it. The top cracked I guess from the heat and it leaking therefore the cap doesn't seal right and leaks from the bottom to when up right so i won't use it as i think it will leak all over. I am waiting to hear from the company to see how they deal with this problem. I have loved this product it is very quiet and seems to do it's job so am dissappointed that it isn't working anymore.

I use this humidifier all winter because our house is so dry and it keeps my child's skin from being so dried out. It is great for when she has a runny nose or cough as well. Definitely recommend this product. Only concern is we have very hard water so I have to chisel off mineral build up on the heating element but it comes off pretty easily. ***Not the product's fault just the fact that I have hard water.***

I've had this humidifier for 3 years. It's not overly noisy (I sleep with it about 4 feet away). I've left it running for 13 hours on low and it still had about an inch of water in the tank. The heating element is hard to clean, but I've soaked/cleaned mine at least once a week with white vinegar in addition to a splash of white vinegar in the tank and that made it alot easier.

Small Yet Powerful Humidifier

I'm on my second winter season with this humidifier and just love it. I have two of them and both perform admirably. This is a fantastic little humidifier. In spite of it's small size it really puts out a lot of moisture. On high, it will drain the tank in about 7 hours. On low the tank lasts about 12 hours. I use it in my bedroom at night on high and it really makes a difference. Room humidity with the bedroom door open goes up from 29% to 49%. At 7 hours it just about lasts all night. Luckily, it has an auto shut-off. I rinse it out and let it dry for the next night. Once a week or so I clean it. Clean up is pretty easy. Just fill the heating chamber with straight white vinegar and let it soak...at least an hour. Built up calcium disolves away and any stubborn bits brush away with an old toothbrush. Other part can be soaked in a diluted vinegar solution with similar results. Whatever you do, don't scrape the heating element with a knife. That will scratch off the non-stick surface and drastically shorten the unit's lifespan and efficiency. Disinfect the tank at the same time with a mild bleach solution.

I love this humidifier! Easy to fill, no filters to mess with and easy to clean as long as you keep on top of it. I agree with the previous review about using white vinegar. Also, if you have access to distilled water, that helps too. I've used this for the last few years but will need to buy a new one this year, as soon as they become available again!

Stopped Working

I have had this humidifier for only 1 year. Worked great, quiet and great features. However, I have had to use it this week for my sick children and it won't work. Seems to be the motor/fan. The light lites up and the heating element gets very HOT but no motor/fan running so there is NO steam. So I am disappointed in this product and not sure if I will replace it with the same one.

Complete JUNK!!!!

The seal for the water fill is on the bottom of the tank.. its a rubber gasket. Worked great the first winter, now it leaks water all over the place. Who in their right mind would put the fill on the bottom, a smarter idea would have been to put it on the top to avoid a mess and failure in the future. Junk I will definetly not buy this again. Looks are decieving.
