Hard to keep clean from water chemical (city water) but from past experience they all are. Am ordering one maybe two for friends that saw it and liked it.
Product met all expectations. On line order process went very well. Unit arrived ahead of schedule. Extremely satisfied
Met product description, and is working wonderfully.
Does a great job with with moisture in the house. also very quiet in operation
... "easy" to use - but more than a little difficult to fill - cannot, for the life of me - understand why it has to be disassembled and turned upside-down to fill - everyday. A little messy, as well, when filling (drips when taken apart). Definitely DO NOT put on any furniture that you care about - the finish will be damaged shortly.
Can't speak to how well it works as I'm returning it because the Power indicator light is WAY TOO BRIGHT. It's a tired old bright blue light that lights up not only the indicator but glow bleeds through the back of the center of the control panel. It also lights up the water tank. Not conducive to sleep. Would be okay as a night light if was an option, but there's no way to turn it off, it looks like a lunar lander is touching down. It is also very difficult to fill. Impressively the gasket on the tank cap appears to be silicone, but the tank cap itself is very smooth and the knurls are rounded so it's difficult with wet hands to manipulate. The tank has a handle to assist with removing it from the unit, but if you're trying to hold it upside down to fill it, there's nothing to help support it while the weight increases during filling. It's too big to fit in most bathroom sinks. There is also no handle on the unit to pick it up, my inclination is to pick it up from the handle on the top if I want to move it, big mistake when the unit is full. There's no lock for the tank so it comes flying off. Poorly thought out design. I was also immediately turned off by the thin sharp cheap plastic of the base unit. Really sub par for an $80 unit.
