RC Groups in the Foamie kit section has a a little Phlat Phlyer called the Phlatstang from Phlatboyz. All the parts are called out for and with the convienience of getting them all through Horizon Hobby was realy nice. Although the parts required for the Phlatstang are from different models, The selection was listed as to what was needed and oredered at the same time. The Main Motor: Ultra-Micro 4-Site is used in the Phlatstang for power and is more then enough to fly the model in manor to have some really good fun. Motor is easy to install and use according to the instructions with the model.
Went to put a replacement motor in my U.M. Corsair, and the black plastic piece that holds the wires fell completely off! Put it back, and powered up the plane without the motor mounted to see if it still worked, and a small puff of blue smoke came out of it, and then it worked sporadically. Brand new motor. I'm gonna get one of those brushless kits for the Nano, and put it in this Corsair, and never worry about these TERRIBLE brushed motors again! 11 bucks is a little steep for what it is. I could always graft a Nine Eagles motor to a Horizon plug, and at LEAST get a Summer out of that motor...C'MON GUYS, give us something we can USE!
