i used this in the T -34 mentor large 25 size aircraft, and it flies real super. i had to balance the propeller and now it is fine. maybe for a little more acceleration , a power 32 motor might be o.k., but i'm happy with the power 25 motor . E-flight is awesome !
I've been using this motor on a Ultra Stick 25e for about a year now. I've had ALL good experiences with it. It pulls almost 3 pound "Stick" straight up on a 13x6.5 and Thunder Power 3300 mah 11.1 30c!!! Oh yeah... it also has TONS OF POWER!
There have been some posts that E- Flite never made a prop hub for the 25 and 32 motors. That they never offered one is not an indication that it doesn't exist. I adapted a Tech-1 prop hub part # Tec1001013P to the 25 as a perfect fit replacement for the collet hub. There are only about 3 factories in China making all of the available motors it is not impossible to adapt many of the other products to your needs. That said the E-flite 25 is a superb offering for the money and as most know they are certainly more capable of powering larger models then what they conservably state. Currently powering a Sig Faser with much more power and authority than the 40 engine that was on the previous Faser 25 years ago.

I purchased my first Power 25 five years ago for my E-flite Cub 25e and it has performed flawlessly and consistently through the years. There have been no issues with any part of this motor. There are motors out there that have more power and cost less but they lack durability and consistent performance where the Power 25 is very reliable and durable.
I purchased this motor as a drop in upgrade to a Parkzone Bf-109. The plane crashed nose first, destroying the airplane on it's first flight with this motor. Don't know what the cause of the crash was. The motor survived a WOT, nose down auger into the ground without so much as a scratch. I purchased an E-Flite Cub to replace the 109 and put this motor on it. This motor pulls the plane around very well, for a decent amount of time, even on an under capacity battery.
Let's be honest, there are a lot of options when it comes to outrunner brushless motors. A lot of them are a fraction of the cost of the Power 25, but come with questionable or inconsistant quality issues. The few companies that have motors that match the quality of the E-flite motors are in more or less the same price range of these top of the line motors. No one disputes the quality of these motors. But what distinguishes these motors from all other motors, is the reason I bought the Power 25, and will continue to buy E-flite motors. The support. The quality is top notch and the company that sells them stands behind them 100%. There is no other motor out there with the support and quality as E-flite's motors. If you did have an issue, you wouldn't have an issue for long. What's that worth? A lot.
Bought an 'equivalent' .25 motor from HK, thinking I was going to save money. The bearings lasted less than a dozen flights. Replaced the HK motor with a Power .25, and never regretted it. That original Power 25 has survived multiple crashes, but still runs great. I now have 3 of them in use and am looking at getting a fourth.
