We bought the Baby Sports set with the bedding, lamp, and border. It all works perfectly together! The border is about 4' too short for the room so we are going to have to buy some more to finish.
this wall border i purchased for my baby's nursery is better then i had expected. my step father used both the water and glue and it stuck to the walls very well!!! i'm very happy w/ it. the colors are soft for a new born
I had no problem putting this wall boarder up, it was very easy. Easier than what I thought I read some of the reveiws and they had so much problems but I didn't. The only problem I had is that I ran out and only had a little section left to do but my baby boys room looks great
The border is very cute and looks great with the rest of this bedding set. However, it does not stick well by itself. we had to use wallpaper glue to get it to stay on the walls. I would still recommend this product, though, because it looks great with the bedding set.
I purchased the entire nursery set brand new on ebay for the same price as what the 4 piece bedding costs...we purchased the border through Walmart and couldnt wait to put it up because it was the final touch in the nursery. It did not want to stick to the wall at all by following the directions. It states to soak it for the allowed time and let it sit for another amount of time before applying to the wall. After becoming very frusterated, my husband got a spray bottle and drenched the border as applying it. That made it stick more. It's been about 2 weeks since we put it up and it has started coming off in certain spots. But we have another problem...it says to roll it up backwards while soaking it in a bowl of water. We did that and when we unrolled it, the design had rubbed off!! So we have the border up with smudges all over it! It states that the border is 30' long (2 rolls, each 15'). We measured the nursery and it was 29' 1" in total. We got it all up and there is about 4 feet of the wall left!! So it was NOT the length stated. We had to order another 2 rolls just to get the additional 4 feet. Not happy about that. The edges of the border were not cut straight at all. My husband had to take a utility knife and trim some off to make the ends meet nicely...and no, he did not trim off 4 feet worth of the border to explain the length difference. I am including 2 pictures...one to show some of the smudges, and the other to show where it is starting to come off the worst.
The border is very cute in baby's room but it was very difficult and frustrating to place. We read the directions yet it would not stick to the wall. The borders fell off several times while installing it. I was ready to just discard it but it look so adorable that we finally decided to use glue and it work. I'll make sure to buy a self adhesive border next time.
very easy to put up, but the color on the boarder ran leaving white lines throughout the border. i have borders and wallpaper up throughout my house and this was the worse. i would not recommand this product. for 10$ a roll it didnt hold up.
I'm not too bad at fixing stuff around the house, but these borders are a pain to put up. While they are definately cute and would have made nice decor for my newborn's room, I finally gave up after having to soak and resoak the borders in water because they wouldn't stick properly to the wall, even after following all the directions. My suggestion is to buy the pre-sticky wall borders for less hassle. Who wants to deal with this after having a baby and not getting enough sleep as it is?
This product doesn't stick to the walls very good at all. I had to actually apply more glue to it after it was up on the wall, due to it falling off the wall. Also, you receive two rolls with your order and the two I received were different heights, not good when your doing one room with both rolls.
We followed the directions on the wallpaper. Some of the paint within in the border came off. I think it must have a defect in the wallpaper. I would not suggest this product.
