I bought this microphone because a standard dynamic microphone plugged directly to my PC sound card line-in wasn't sensitive enough to record without having to by a Microphone preamp to boost the Microphone signal. For such a low cost this does the trick and a lot cheaper. Sound quality and volume lever is very good and no pre-amp is necessary. Definitely worth the money.
This mic is perfect for recording music and voice into my laptop and tablet without a lot of extra gear.
Good product, meets expectations. Clear sound when making recording..... only wish is a stereo microphone might have been nicer..... but would have cost more. Good mic at a good price.
I purchased this one over the others, because it resembled a regular microphone. It took awhile to get it to work. The instructions were very basic if you were using XP or earlier versions; however, I have Vista. Once I figured out how to use it, it met the need. The sound quality was great.
Im always creating different songs with my acoustic guitar & have only been using a cheap computer mic to record them on. After buying this, my vocals, & even the strumming of my guitar come in crystal clear with this product. I am not dissapointed.
It was very tricky at first i had visa but when i fuigre out it was great i recorded 4 cd's with this michorphone i like it but if you Hvae visa il be a little tricky stting it up
I has great quality, and I got it to work with Vista 64 bit, but there is a trick to playing audo while recording from the mic. I also haven't found a way to stream the microphone input directly to the speakers or an amp. It seems to be only for recording. Still, you can't beat the quality recording for the price.
Most products with a USB connection are plug-and-play, but not this microphone. The microphone was a Christmas gift for my son, and we still have not been able to get it to work properly. No instructions or software came with the microphone, but we are planning to research it on-line to see if we can get it to work. I would not recommend that anyone purchase this microphone, especially if the potential buyer wants an easy to use product!
It is not compatible with Windows Vista and the drivers do not download in XP. Nevertheless THAT is what I get for trying to save some $$$! lol
