Bought 5, then reordered 5 more. Just what I needed for bedrooms in rentals. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Did not need to leave my home to make an upgrade [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Works great. Runs on 9 volt battery.
Cheap easy to use
Smoke alarm works well. My last one lasted exactly 10 years. Its manufacturer date was 2013. Unfortunately and I will have to see but this one was already 2 years old as far as its manufacturer date. So hopefully I will get ten years like my original one. Good price point and great service.
Was i look for to replace my rv smoke detector with the same band in my 2018 rv
they were exactly what we were looking for. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
quality product easy to tnstall
I actually live with one of these because the apartment I live in installed it into my wall, so this is an accurate and nonbias review. It is installed very high up almost to the ceiling and it's unattractive buldgy looking so I don't like to acknowledge it. It started to beep and I had no clue what it meant because it doesn't say any useful information where you can see. It was also recently checked by maintenance I assume they changed the battery like it is suppose to be changed yearly. So I had to get a chair to reach it and figure out how to take it off safely. There are so many Carbon monoxide alarms and they all run differently I couldn't even find it online. I got it off and saw the info on the back. But the break time between chirps is different then the explanation on the back. The light isn't on I'm not sure if it should be. I can say I accidentally set it off and the light flashed red and chirped quicker until I reset it again so at least I know that part works. Though the button isn't really a button it's like pushing down plastic so you don't know if you actually pushed it or not and it hurt my finger to do. I would definitely invest in a better quality one. One that is more helpful and visually doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Like the ones with a screen that tell you information and have useful lights. Especially if it could save someone's life. Don't be cheap with your tenants life's! Saving a few bucks isn't worth it.
