[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a month since we purchased it and I am really happy with it
Bought mine 6 weeks ago to replace a 3 year old “other brand”. The difference is amazing! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got online and ordered our new water filter as soon as we got our reminder email from Frigidaire. There was as YouTube video to watch, and that way we made sure we took off all of the pieces that were there for protection. The filter just went right into place and I added a piece of tape to show the date I installed it on the end. We'll be ready and expecting it next time.
I've had a fridge with this filter for two years and have completely given up on these useless filters. I went through three of these filters in the first six months. The pressure is fine for about a week, so-so for about a week, and completely useless after that. I don't have any other restrictions on my system causing low pressure. The problem is the filter. Our water tastes fantastic out of the tap, so literally the only thing I need this filter to do is complete the plumbing inside the fridge so the water feeds into the icemaker and comes out the dispenser. It fails to meet even that very low bar.
For the few years I've owned this refrigerator, I've experienced the same water filter issues as others who posted reviewed. The water flow is fine for about a week and then it quickly slows to a trickle. The ice machine barely makes ice as well. My home has no hard water or plumbing issues. My previous refrigerator has zero issues with water flow and ice creation. There is clearly a product flaw with the PureSource water filters that Fridgidaire needs to address.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These water filters are the biggest rip-off ever. Feels like Frigidaire knowingly makes a crappy product to force you to buy them more often (AND they're very expensive!). The original filter that came with our fridge worked great, but every replacement we've had since has been horrible. After about 6 weeks, the water flow slows to just a trickle. This has happened with every single replacement filter we've had (at least 5). Not to mention, we've now have two that have cracked, leading to a flood in our fridge. Never been so unhappy with a product and will always avoid Frigidaire appliances in the future.
Love this product, been using for years, however, just went to install the 2nd of my 2 pack and one of nozzles are broken off and can't be used. Any way to get replacement or is there a t limited timeframe?
This is the second time the Frigidaire filter has cracked. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
You would think ordering 3 filters, at least one would work…but similar to what others have posted, NONE of my 3 new ones would click in. They are the same model as I have ordered in past and are identical to the one I pulled out…but I will not go in all the way and click!?!
This is my third time trying to get a filter that will produce clear water. I'm just going to return and bypass it so my ice maker will still get water. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
