the GMX DRIVE can do just about anything. you can play CD's, you can play off of a USB and you can control software on a computer. the unit is build like a tank and works flawlessly.
This mixer is more for a technical expert disc jockey. I am an old school disc jockey who is more geared to using the cd player section. You have to highlight your music tracks and push the browse button. If you don't do it right, the cd player will repeat the same song. The unit is more better suited for your computer usage. I only used it once and will be returning it back to walmart. I wish someone would have told me about the difficult/complex cd player section. As a 38 year dj, I prefer a unit that can play a cd like a standard cd player without having to push too many buttons. I hope walmart understands and will send me a return label.
