Purchased these filters to use on my motorhome whole house filtration. The two things you need to consider in any filter purchase is the micron rating and flow rate. These filters meet my requirements. They have a high flow rate and enough micron rating. i use these filters in conjunction with a 5 micron filter at the hose connection. This may be a little overkill but i had rather have safe chemical free water. Since I travel to many parts of the US I encounter all types of water quality. We have a lot of iron in the well water and the normal carbon coated cartridges can't cut it. I have been using these block carbon cartridges for 2 years now and they last about 2 to 3 months for the whole house. Great!
