i thinks this game is just purely awesome. i don't know why people complain to much about this game and how short it is. Im a COD freak and i now that it's a good game. i can go online easily like any other COD . and, most of the people don't buy COD because of the history mode.....THEY ALL BUY COD BECAUSE THEY WANNA GO ONLINE!!!
I have played this game at a friends house and i got addicted i almost couldnt bear to give up the controls! this game has great high Quality graphics!when you shoot the enemy team it really looks like they are dead or dieing. This game also has great war terrain. I would highly reccomend this game to anybody :)
My son loves this game and plays it all the time. It has given him hours of fun. He loves military and action games so this was a great choice.
I got this game about a week ago. I have already beat the game! Doesn't take very long to beat. I had Call of Duty 1,2, and 3 for PS2. By far this one is the most fun and the best. If you have ever played Call of Duty 3 for PS2 the controls are exactly the same. Call of Duty World at War is a different game. Final Fronts is rated "T" for teen (ages 13+). The normal World at War is "M" for everyone 17 years old and up.
Well I've been a huge fan of COD for a long time. I pre ordered this game and had my hopes up. I got it the night of the 11th and just beat it about 15 minutes ago. I am not an obsessive gamer and i only played this game casually and beat it within a couple days... So its not very long. I am always very disappointed on how fast i finish these games. I play on Hardened level as well so its not that its too easy its just really short. I would defiantly say wait for the price to go down, The only reason i bought this game at this price was because i got it from a game store and traded in some old games for it. but its a pretty good game like all the COD's are just not worth the price considering how fast you beat it, I mean you could replay it on a harder level but thats not too much fun since you already know exactly what is going to happen anyway... Oh and out of all the COD's (I've beaten them all) I've played them all on PS2 Except COD4 Modern warfare, I played that on XBOX360. But out of all of them i would say number 4 wins HANDS DOWN. It was AMAZING and it was also a little short but the game play was beyond spectacular. Now I'm not sure if the game is the same on all platforms (probably not) but if you have a backwards compatible PS3 and you're considering buying this cause its a little cheaper, I wouldn't. This new rush about the flame thrower is pretty cool except you only get to use it like 2 times in the whole game. Then in the scene's i've seen on tv and stuff with the flame thrower aren't on this version so i must assume the PS3 versions are way better. But like i said it sums down to a good game just not worth 40 bucks just to beat it in a couple days. Just wait for the price to go down.
This game is pretty good, the only major differance between this and COD: World at war is the M rating and there are a couple different missions on COD: World at War. Overall this game is good, but just wait for the price to go down.
I bought this COD game when it first hit the selves. I was so amped up tp play it and when i got home a played for about 3 hours and it was over with. It's really short, but the gameplay is fun and it has good graphics, but i would wait until it hit greatest hits before buying.
the second I played this game it seemed bad. First of all, there is only one type of gameplay: campain, no online multiplayer or Zombies. And then I started to play the game, the graphics are blotchy and extremely unrealistic and all of your allies and enemies look almost exatly the same. And then I expierenced the worst a.i. I have ever seen: sometimes the enemy will be charging you and suddenly stop and walk around as if your not even there! And you are usaully hit by friendly fire before you even make it close to a bunker, when you step in front of a jeep or sherman tank your allies don't even make an atempt to stop. The weapon damge is extremly unrealistic it takes about 3 boozaka shells to stop a panzer tank. Characters mouths don't even move when they speak the missions are short and easy so easy in fact that even the veteran setting should be the easy. I have a game from 2005 called Medal Of Honor Frontlines and its better than the game I'm revewing. Over all don't waste the money buying Call Of Duty: World At War Final Fronts
My son whom i purchased this game for, was very disapointed with this game and complaind many times! He had it completely finished in about an hour and was really upset that he could not play on line like the other call of duty games. Making this game worthless or no longer desireable to play. $40.00 for 1 hour of play.
For 39.00 dollars this game is a ripoff. Although the gameplay is decent, the difficulty even on hard is not hard, and the game takes about 3.5 hours to beat. I would recommend something other than this game if your into war games.
