Had to order online because the 3 closest Walmarts were out of boy sandals in the stores.
They protect the little toes. They keep the pinky toe from coming out the side like others. My 1 year old has NO problem walking in these like he does in his other shoes. They are a nice fit across the top and easy to go on.
The shoe is good quality and my grandson loved them. They did run a tiny bit small. They just fit him. I got a 5.5 and really the half size was no different than some 5's I recently purchased. So get the next up size instead of the half. The shoe is made well and looks like he will never wear them out.
These shoes are awesome for summer! They are light and even easy to clean.
