Great small tank for a betta. The divider is removable for more room for a single betta.
Love this aquarium! Plenty of room for 2 bettas using the divider between them. Very easy to feed the bettas with the cut-outs in the cover. And the light is great. Now my cats can watch them whenever they want day or night and the fish are safe.
This tank is a very good one! It is very good quality! My betta fish are very happy in it! I love to turn the light on at night!
I had 2 very bored bettas in separate containers who barely moved from one spot. Now they love puffing up at each other since they can see each other! I added some live plants and a small filter which has kept the water crystal clear so far. It obviously would've been better if a filter had been included for this price since similar size ones did offer a filter without the divider. But overall, I am very pleased, especially because you cannot see the divider at all and it really looks like they are together!
I ordered this product from Wal-Mart Value of the day and it was a great deal for $10.
i purchased this tank in a local walmart store for my male crown tail betta. when i got home i quickly found that there was no lightbulb or filter. i have to come to a conclusion that someone needed a bulb and a filter, so they purchased this tank, took it out and returned it. i returned the tank and now my betta lives in a 10 gallon aquarium purchased at pet'smart
This product works very well. A problem with how it is made is that i thought it was a corner piece but the front of the tank(where the wiring from the light isn't) is the point. Yes the plastic is cheap but hey how much did I pay for it?? Problems with the extras.. The light is too bright for the fish happiness but you can remedy this by getting a 5 or 6 watt bulb. MOST important... this tank at one gallon, is the least amount of space that is acceptable for the Betta to live a happy, healthy life. leave the divider OUT. One Betta per tank. if you feel the need to give him a friend throw in one of those little sucker fish. No the Betta will NOT hurt him. I have had many over the years and they are only fish aggressive to other males. Yet, many other fish will injury the Betta fins. Anyways, i digress. This product is great for the price. It cleans up well.
Betta fish need at LEAST 2.5 gallons of water minimum. Per fish. They need filtered water, and heated to 78 -/+ a couple of degrees. This is horrible for those poor fish. You want them to live only a few weeks? This is the way. Betta fish are supposed to live 2-3 years, sometimes more, WITH PROPER CARE. Not putting them in a tiny unfiltered cold corner.
