I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MY CLEAR FOR LIFE AQUARIUM. IT WAS SO EASY TO SET UP, MY FISH ARE BRIGHTER AND THEY SEEM HAPPIER, THEY SWIM AROUND AND AROUND. I recently moved and had to downsize from a big glass 45 gallon aquarium to this one. This one is so much easier to keep clean and is so much easier to lift!!!!!! I wasn't to thrilled about the price but I do love the tank! It's a lot tougher than it looks!
I bought this tank and I love it, there is only one fall back, I got the 35 gallon, and you need a ladder to get into the tank to reach in to decorate because there is no way to reach inside with a rectangle cut out that is on top of the tank. That is the only way to get stuff in. so if you are planning to buy big big rocks think again it will not go in this tank. It didn't come with the lights, I bought the stand and love the stand its also acrylic in the black and not wood. The light fixture I bought at petsmart and got the one for the regular tank and works well with this one. Didn't need the canopy at all. I got it with the blue back ground and inside I put blue lights and its really love it. But not for anyone who is a beginner or hates headaches. This is a tank that if you plan to leave it in one spot for good. Because it would be a headache to move because the way its done. I would really think where to put it before you fill it and start putting decorations and water.
The set up is difficult do to the size of the opening at the top. There is very little room to work with. If you you intend to place your aquarium on a stand, then you will need a ladder to excess and reach the bottom. However, once you overcome this you will find you efforts very enjoyable.
good aquarium for table top. love the fish colors that acrylic brings out. the depth requires a little more effort to clean.
I like the set up, there is no light included in the hood. I have no idea what to do with just a hood.
Nice aquarium to buy when on sale. Only problem is the opening on the tops of these are quite small and you can't get large or even medium decorations inside.
