The monitor is very clear, good reception. I bought this cause a good friend has it and it has held up for them over 14 months and still going. They love it and hopefully I will as well. I set it up to make sure it worked and it was very easy to do and wow was it a clear picture.
We put this on our gift registry and one of our parents bought it for us. When we opened it it did not have the AC adapters nor instructions. It had smudge marks all over it. It was obviously used before and returned with not all its parts! We took it back to our local Wal-mart. We then reordered this same product online. So far it has been good and served our purpose. It is nice to have to be able to see what our month old baby is doing instead of just hearing her.
picks up other signal from different frequencys and intermittantly screen will not work correctly. But overall the video monitor in general is a great product. I was generally happy with this particular one but there are probably better ones out there.
I think that its a ok product but not very good for the outside. Not clear enough.
Within the first year of using this monitor the tv monitor started having problems. Now after using it 2yrs, the tv monitor shows no image, just constant lines and flashing. My friend has the same one and it does the same thing. I would not recommend this product. It should at least last 5yrs!
I picked this up about a year and half ago. My husband was a bit nervous about our daughter sleeping in the other room. It worked alright for a little while. Then I had to return it to the company because it had just stopped working after only a couple weeks. I did think it was very nice of the company to send an entirely new one instead of just replacing the parts...until I realized they must have know the product wasn't that great and they must have to appease people often. The new one didn't wow me either. It had been put away for quite awhile and I recently took it out to loan it to a friend only to find that the second one has now stopped working as well. I am disappointed in Safety 1st, I usually really like their products.
I have baught this monitor twice now because i thought maybe the first time when the screen went black it was a fluke. this monitor only works properly for the first few months then the screen begins to go fuzzy and eventually the picture tube goes back. I am now looking to buy another monitor for my toddler and it will not be this one. I do not reccomend this product.
