We LOVE this monitor...we chose it because of it's good reviews. We knew nothing about monitors as this is our first baby. This monitor is completely interference free! I can hear my baby so well that if I wake up in the middle of the night feeling paranoid I can just increase the volume, hear him breathing and then turn it back down. I keep it on the lowest volume setting and I still wake up when he cries.
We love to go camping, and this monitor is perfect for it! I love that I can hear my sleeping baby when I'm at the campfire and don't have to keep getting up to listen at the tent, this monitor is perfect for camping because of it's optional battery operated feature. Plus it amazing that it shows the temperature! Such a useful feature! My husband and I are really happy with this monitor!
I love this monitor it is very good. I can hear my baby even when he moves around in his crib. I think it is a great monitor. We have had it for a little over a month and it's great. I have a 5 year old and she has dropped to monitors a few times and they're still good to use.
In fairness, I'm due in six days, so I haven't tested it with our baby and I don't know about the durability yet. The monitor was very easy to set up. We didn't have a table to set it up on in the baby's room, so we placed it on a chair next to the crib. I turned on our womb sounds bear to the quietest setting, then turned on the receiver to the lowest volume and you could DEFINATELY hear it! Looks like this is a good one!
Excellent baby monitor. Not as much fuzz and extra noise as we've had on other ones.
After having a different graco monitor for 10 yrs (From my 1st child), it finally died. I stuck with Graco for it's reputation and this one sure lives up to it. You can hear everything perfectly even outside the house. Make sure you get the right batteries when you purchase it for the carry around portion, since you might not want them all pugged in. We haven't needed to use the nightlight but did try it and it works well too. Would highly reccomend this product. We'll see how many different sounds it really picks up when we have both a newborn and a toddler in one room in a few months.
After reading reviews about this monitor, I decided to get it to replace my 3 year FIRST YEARS monitor I used for son which was making so much static I just wanted to throw it out the window...after receiving the Graco UltraClear II, i set it up that night and thought it was broken, it was so quiet and no static coming from it. I love this monitor, and when the baby does cry or even just make little noises my wife and i hear it loud and clear, and on the lowest setting!
I have this monitor for 2 1/2 years. It is still working !!! Sound is great (I can always hear my baby breath), the range is fantastic (I can walk across the street to say hello to my neighbor or do yard work while my little one is sleeping and still hear every sound in the nursery). Plus it shows temperature which is so important. I love this product!
This product is not too bad for the money you pay. I think it works great, the night light is only good for 15 minutes or so, but I don't need it anyway. There is no static, no interruptions. Works great throughout the entire house. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family. No need to spend more money for monitor.
This monitor still has a soft hum but it is not too bad, doesn't keep me from sleeping and is much, much better than the fisher price monitor I had before, that on picked up a radio station somewhere and had very loud humming. I would definitely recommend this one and I feel very safe using it, I can here the baby very well and it is loud enough to wake me up when he is stirring.
