I bought this monitor for my daughter when she was born 3 years ago. It worked so good that I bought the same one for my son a few weeks ago. I use both monitors daily (one in each child's room) to keep an ear on things. I love this product! Works great!
I'm very happy with this monitor. Very clear with virtually no static even at the highest volume. I can hear baby breathing clearly. LED light in front to see if baby is crying & also great vibration option. I've tried VTech monitor and after and it failed to pick up my baby crying in the middle of the night I returned it.
As this item was a gift for someone I can't say that I know how well it works but I had done some research thinking "what would I want for my newborn baby" and I found this product. When my son was a baby I remembered that Graco products were very well made and worked well so I chose this item for the young couple. I am sure I will get feedback on whether it stands up the the product name.
These are so much better than the cheaper kinds that you need to keep replacing the batteries. Plus, you get 2 of them! They work great and stand up easily. I think they used to come with a cradle that made charging easier, but it's not that bad to have to plug them in each time.
I just ordered my Graco Monitor a few weeks ago and so far I am very happy with its performance! I am a first time mommy so I use it frequently and wanted to be sure I could always hear my baby's cry. I have tested it in many areas of the house and even at my next door neighbors and the quality of the sound is great! I haven't noticed any interference with other devices, it was also a great price! I would definitely recommend this product!! Also shipping was very quick, it arrived a week or so before expected!
My newborn is three doors down and we keep the televisions on at all times it is perfect and a great price. Love the rechargeable batteries so I can unplug and go outside to take a breather or just to have it at all times! Love it and would highly recommend this to a mom to be or a mom who hasn't used a monitor before.
I purchased this as a gift for my nephew who lives in a townhouse. They have a packnplay both upstairs & down stairs for the baby. All reports are that it's working great!
When I am able to get a signal, the sound is very clear. The 2,000 foot range claim is somewhat questionable in my situation, but it is the only unit in my price range that can even come close. There are only a couple of places inside the house where I can get a good signal from the barn, but they are consistently clear, so that's where I keep the two recievers. I'm not able to carry one with me and be able to hear anything except the 'out of range' beeps. I'm using it to warn me of impending births (goats). The 'kids' that I am monitering are not really what the unit designer had in mind, but I can make it work, and that's what counts for me.
best feature of this product is the vibrator. I use this monitor for elder care,, and find it so useful and sensitive that I can even hear the persons change in breathing 4 rms and a hallway from the base of the monitor.
It's a nice monitor set but after charging, it only stays charged for less than two hours. The item was advertised as staying charged for up to 8 hours.
