We have only used it a few nights but so far so good. LOVE that I can speak to him through the monitor without having to actually go in the room.
I previously had just a audio monitors from another company. One of the monitors stopped working and the other one wasn't much better. My granddaughter's parents have this monitor at their house and I loved it so I decided to purchase it. I love being able to see my granddaughter when she's upstairs asleep. When she wakes up she can hear my voice and she instantly quiets down because she knows I'll be in to get her. I would recommend this monitor to anyone.
We almost bought just the monitor. We had no idea how good this was until after we bought it. We are grandparents and we babysit our grandbaby. Sometimes we wake up early and watch TV with the monitor at our side. The baby makes a noise and normally we would go check on the baby. Now we just look at the visual and see the baby is just stirring and quickly goes back to sleep. We love this thing and the intercom has already helped as well if I need help or just to let the baby know I am on my way. We keep the room very dark and almost didn't get this. It works great in dark and light rooms. Well worth the expense for us...We can see how this would be great for a lot of other applications

I have had this monitor for about a week now, and I seriously dont know what I have done without it!! I can see my daughter clearly from across the room, Shed rather listen to the night music on it then anything. I do need to get something to sit it on (I have it hanging on the wall) and it makes the picture crooked but other then that i LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
I bought this about a month ago so I could keep an eye on my twin girls in their bedroom. I love how I can pan the room to change the point of view so I can see each crib and what they are doing. I wasn't sure if I would even use the talk feature, but my girls actually listen when I tell them to lay down and go nyny through the camera... don't ask me why, but they instantly fall down onto their mattresses to lay down when I tell them to. The lullabies are a joke, they are very mechanical sounding and not soothing, so I just don't use that feature. I was concerned that the white noise machine I use in their room would make it hard for the monitor to pick up their sounds, but it works great. It actually works a little TOO well... I don't care to hear every cough or quiet babbling in the middle of the night when I am trying to sleep. I have it in peep mode, so it only turns on when it detects sound and it then will turn on the monitor too. I wish there was a mode where you could select how loud a noise has to be to trigger it to come on. I also wish there was a mode that would turn the volume on in peep mode if there was whining or whatever and you could CHOOSE to turn the video on if it was something you needed to see what was going on. It is kind of annoying for the girls to cry out once like WAH because they woke up for a second and then immediately fell back asleep, but to then have my parent unit lit up with sound on until I turn it off. Levana may also want to think about having a setting where the video and audio will stay on for 1 minute or something for you to see what is going on after it picks up a noise, instead of staying on completely with audio and video until you turn it off. I leave the monitor next to my pillow and leave it face down on the bed so when it lights up because it was triggered by noise it doesn't wake me up unless it is a REAL cry. Let's face it, there is never a night when at least one of the girls doesn't cry out or start talking or whatever in the middle of the night, and I don't need to be woken up over every little sound by that bright screen light (although I do have it set on a dimmer setting). A couple of concerns I have are: the battery gets SUPER hot whenever it is charging and has done so since the day we bought it. I'm not sure if that is normal or not, but I sure pray that it doesn't mean it is going to die anytime soon. Another thing is the power button seems to be a bit finicky the past couple of days... and that makes me nervous. While this monitor is fairly priced when compared to other monitors, we can't afford to buy a replacement anytime in quite some time, so I am hoping these things aren't bad signs. You should just be able to press the power button quickly to turn the screen and audio off once it has been triggered in peep mode - but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't now. The picture of the baby in the crib they show on the website and on the box looks nothing like the video picture you will see on your monitor. At night time it is all black, gray and white, and during the day it is very muted colors. However, I didn't expect camera type quality. As long as I can see what is going on and if I need to go in and get a knee unstuck from in between crib slats or if someone has lost their coveted seahorse, that is all I care about. All in all, I really love having a video monitor! This is the first one we have had, so I am not sure how it compares to others. I will be happy as long as it lasts me a couple years!
I gave a four star rating based on the ease of order and delivery as stated. Since it was a gift and the baby has not arrived, I cannot attest to the operation of the product. However it was the 100+ 4-5 star ratings that convinced me to purchase the item.
I never thought I'd want a video monitor, but I thought this would provide additional peace of mind to ensure the safety of my baby and older child now that they're sharing a room. The sound quality has been great with no buzzing or popping sounds like my precious audio monitors. It's very responsive and easy to use.
Very good product, a little high price for a second camera but I'm happy with it. Just need to add the thermometer.
I received this monitor as a shower gift and I was extremely excited to get it especially with the high price. I am beyond dissapointed with the quality of the night vision. I can't see my baby at all like they claim. It is awful, photo attached. I threw the box away or I would be returning it. AWFUL, DO NOT BUY!
