My kitchen has wall to wall carpeting. I was attempting to empty the old oil from the deep fryer into the garbage but I picked up the fryer by the lid which is detachable. The lid came off and the entire gallon of oil spilled onto the carpet in one big oil slick. I emptied half a bottle of dawn into a bucket and filled it the rest of the way with warm water and poured it onto the oil soaked carpet. I blotted the spot with towels and got out my carpet steam cleaner and the oil completely disappeared. (I did have to use some liquid fabric softener to cut the bubbles). It has been a year and there is not a hint of stain or any odor on that spot. I'm amazed!
Even though I have a dishwasher, there are always some dishes to be washed by hand. During the Summer, with gardening and cooking, my hands take quite a beating. The Dawn Plus Hand Renewal has made a huge difference in the look and feel of my hands. For once, they are not snagging everything! Thank you Dawn!!
I absolutely LOVE this product. I do not have a dishwasher and I do a lot of dishes. I was constantly putting lotion on my hands because they were so dry. I would always use Dawn, because after trying cheaper brands found that it was worth the little extra money, but it did dry out my hands as all else did. When I saw the "hand renewal" Dawn, I decided to try it and was very pleased with the results. I did not even realize just how good it was until I ran out and was using up a left over bottle of regular Dawn. Within just a couple of days, I was back to using the hand lotion on my dry hands. I went out and bought more of the Hand Renewal and will try to always use it. I LOVE IT!!
I wash dishes up to 3 times a day and sometimes have a lot to wash. Hand renewal lasts a long time. I can use just a little and get rich, thick suds that'll last close to an hour and a 20oz bottle will last me over a month and the lavender silk scent is my favorite! I also love how soft my hands are after washing dishes.
I have been using Dawn for many years and would not think of using any other product. I would just like to add this additional information for those that do or may not know it, but Dawn does a better job at cleaning carpets then any cleaning product that I have ever used...So, in just saying I think that your company should really try to market a carpet cleaner using Dawn..
I do all of my diishes by hand . Dawn Plus does indeed work as it claims. My hands are not dried out and do not feel rough and scratchy after I finish the dishes. It helped my hands immediately even though it claims to work after 5 washings. In addition it cuts grease and cleans dishes very well.
..that you could attribute SOFTER HANDS to a dishwashing liquid? I am a believer now! Honestly, I bought the product a month ago due to the smell and the color (It matches my kitchen decor :">). I hadn't really noticed how soft my hands had become until my SO noticed it first..That is when I took notice too! Kudos to DAWN Plus Hand Renewal for bringing back the youthful appearance to these old hands! (Maybe a DAWN body and face wash could be in the near future? hint-hint! hehe) Much gratitude from Florida!
The original dawn dish soap it not only good for dishes it is also good as a wasp spray. A family member is highly allergic to wasp sting. He has a nest of them in his attic. He had bought the wasp spray but it just didn't work. So since dawn works on pets he thought maybe insects. He mixes with water in spray bottle and sprays. It works wonderful.
Not only does the Dawn smell great, but yes my hands were much softer! Before using Dawn, the cold Northeast weather was making my hands dry and itchy. Now I am not using as much lotion and my hands don't hurt. It really worked. I vow not to ever buy the store brand "cheap" stuff again!
I purchased Hand renewal hoping that my hands would not dry out & was extremely disspointed. I have a newborn baby & have to wash my hands even more, I was hopeful this would help prevent my hands from getting dry from overwashing, but have been using this product for 3+ weeks & my hands have actually gotten more dryer & more cuts from over washing.
