Dawn is always my go to dish soap! It does what it is supposed to do and always gets the grease off. I have tried different brands whenever I feel like changing but I always go back to dawn. Dawn Ultra dishwashing liquid original scent
My son is a bus boy and came home with a ketchup stain on his white shirt. I didn't even think to pre treat it with the laundry detergent. The next morning, I tried pretreating it with Tide, washed it and the stain was still there. I scrubbed by hand with more laundry detergent and it would not come out. For the heck of it, I tried using the Dawn. To my shock and surprise, a little Dawn, a tooth brush and a little scrubbing and the stain is almost all the way gone. So not only is Dawn safe for animals, (I used it once on a flea infested little dog that I rescued), cleans dishes perfectly, now I can use it to pretreat the awful stains my son comes home with on his white shirt. Thank you for having such a great product!!!!!
Several years ago, my son spilled a bottle of cooking oil on a t-shirt that had to be worn the next day. In desperation I grabbed the bottle of Dawn sitting by the sink and poured it over the shirt and threw it in the washer along with laundry detergent. To my surprise it came out with no sign of the oil. Since that time I have always used Dawn on all types of clothings stains prior to washing. I have even used it on clothing that had been washed and dried before the stain was discovered. Dawn has never disappointed me. It also cleans my dishes washed by hand. Thanks for a wonderful product!
This is more than just dish soap, it is so gentle that I use this on my animals when I give them a bath. There are also so many home hacks you can use with this. I will never buy another dish soap again!!
LAST WEEKEND I WAS WORKING IN THE YARD WEARING A PAIR OF OLD KAHKI PATAGONIA STAND UP SHORTS. OLD AS IN ABOUT 2O YEARS. SO SOFT THEY'RE LIKE WALKING AROUND IN BOXERS. MY WIFE NOTICED A BLOTCH OF GREASE ON THE BACK AND I THOUGHT IT MUST BE DIRT BECAUSE I HADN'T BEEN AROUND GREASE. LATER, I FELT THE BACK OF MY SHORTS AND THE RIGHT BACK WAS COVERED IN A TAR LIKE SUBSTANCE. I WAS HOT BECAUSE I FIGURED IT HAD RUINED MY FAVORITE SHORTS. TURNS OUT IT CAME FROM THE BACK OF A PAIR OF OLD TIMBERLAND EUROHIKERS THAT I USE FOR YARD WORK. MY WIFE SAID SHE WOULD SHOUT THEM OUT AND I THOUGHT SOME GOOP MIGHT HELP, BUT I KNEW THERE WAS NO WAY I WAS GOING TO GET ALL THAT BLACK TAR OUT...THEN I REMEMBERED YOUR PRODUCT AND HOW IT HAD WORKED ON OIL AND WILDLIFE. I SATURATED THE STAIN WITH WITH DAWN ULTRA THEN LET THEM STAND FOR ABOUT AN HOUR IN A MOPBUCKET FULL OF COLD WATER. I THEN SCRUBBED THEM WITH A TIRE BRUSH AND TO MY AMAZEMENT, THE TAR GRADUALLY STARTED TO COME OUT. I REPEATED THIS SEVERAL TIMES AND NOW YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL THERE WAS EVER A STAIN. I WISH I HAD TAKEN A BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURE TO ILLUSTRAITE MY POINT. YOUR PRODUCT NOT ONLY WORKS ON DUCKS, IT WORKS ON DUCK SHORTS. THANKS A MILLION, WE'VE USED YOUR PRODUCT FOR YEARS AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO!
We. Love using dawn dish soap... Our dishes clean and all residue is gone. A little goes a long way. As you can see, we need more. My daughter even makes #bubbles and adds it to #slime.
I have always loved Dawn dishwash liquid. Since it doesn't seem to be as "lasting" lately # grease fighter doesn't last as long#, I started using something else UNTIL I had to get #spilled# tattoo ink out of a shirt. Dawn dish liquid is the ONLY thing that will get ANY color tattoo ink out of clothing, even jeans! Unbelievable job!
When I first got my cat he was covered in fleas, my vet recommended we use this as a gentle pet shampoo. It was very effective in removing the fleas and gentle enough for my cat's coat. It's good at washing dishes too I guess lol. Dawn
Dawn makers!... WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY DISH SOAP! I have been using the Dawn product for years and always loved it. Now not so much. It has been watered down and doesn't soap up. A small amount used to do the job, now I'm having to use triple the amount. I don't want to have to pay more at the store but I would for your old product. I hope the "powers to be" read these comments.
I loved Dawn when it first came out but over the years the grease cutting ability and the strength of suds have slowly declined. Now when I do dishes I don't get anywhere near the amount of dishes done , even if I rinse most of grease away with hot water first. I'm very unhappy with the quality.
