I have never in my life endorsed any product fully, but after using Dawn Ultra, I am amazed and more so happy. As a bachelor, It also happens that I am not the best cook in the world. I've resently over cooked a large pot of pork and beans and it left a very thick hardend crust at the top of the pot. I had some off brand soap I was trying out, which after alot of elbow grease and time, I was getting not where. I searched through my cupboards and found a bottle of Dawn Ultra that was givin to me as part of a house warming gift I had forgotten about. I filled the pot with hot water, poured some soap in and left it alone. I ran some arrends for an hour or so, came home, dumped the water out of the pot, ( having never even put my hands in the water) and the water, along with EVERY piece of grime from that pot poured out. I literally cheered out loud. Absolutely no scrubbing, not sure how it did it, but I am very greatful and impressed. Thank you "hands free" Eric.
I have tried many different dish liquid brands over the years. This is the best for ease of cleaning without a long soak time. Lots of long lasting suds & a nice clean scent. I order online because none of the local stores carry this item. Don't be fooled by the cheap stuff, a little Dawn goes a long way..
This is my first time use this product and I will use no other. It has cleaned things that I thought would not come clean, like the sense in your favorite tea cup in including the stains. One, two and three and it all were gone. I love it.
I have used this product for many years, because of the bleach additive and it is clear, and now it is getting harder to find in stores. So when I found this on line I stocked up. Hope they don't stop making this dishwashing liquid.
I have been a user of DAWN dish detergent for atleast 20 years and up until lately, I would not have thought about purchasing another dish detergent. Lately I feel as if the product is not like it use to be. The suds don't last as long and it seems to take twice as much to "get the job done". I will continue to buy DAWN for now as I have been such a loyal customer for so many years it is hard to look at any other dish detergents. I am hoping that things will get back to normal! At this time I would not recommend the product as I feel as if the strength has been weakened.
I, too, have noticed since the beginning of the summer a decline in the effectiveness of this product. Where I used to be able to do a sink full of dishes and still have suds and grease cutting power I now have to add more product and even use it directly on my dishcloth to get the effect that I used to have.... I have used Dawn dish washing liquid for many years and have highly praised it to friends and family but now I may begin to do the search to find a product that was as great as Dawn used to be...What's happened!?
I grew up watching my mother use nothing but dawn dish soap. She would swear by the product about how good it was. She would go as far as to say that it never lost it suds or cleaning power, but that all has changed. I began using the soap when I got married and I have to say that it is probably one of the worst soaps I have ever used. I will not keep its suds like it used to. I know this doesn't seem important, but it is important to me because it lets me know that what I am using this soap is getting clean. All I see now is just water with a few suds in it. It seems like you have to add more soap just to finish washing what you are washing. I hope that someday they will go back to old formula because it worked so much better.
For years I have always used Dawn and was always very satisfied with it but in the last year I have noticed that it doesn't cut the grease anymore like it use too, in order for any grease to get dissolved off my dishes I have to pour Dawn directly on that dish thats greasy and than if I am lucky it will kill some of the grease, I do not have hard water so I don't see that as the problem, I don't know if your company changed the formula that use to work real well but not only have I noticed that it doesn't do the job like it use to but also friends and family also noticed that it lost its power to dissolve grease also, I will not be buying Dawn any more! so disappointed that it doesn't work good any more!.
I just had to write to you about the last two bottles of Dawn dish liquid I have boughtened. I thought the first one was a fluke but then the second one was no better. They do not hold the suds past the glass wear and by the end my dishes and my sink feels greasy. I have been a loyal fan since the beginning of Dawn. i have even reccommended it to family and friends. I have even gone so far as to but it and take or send to people when they couldn't find the product in their stores. Who tried to fix a perfectly good product, this was a Big, Big mistake. Don't try to fix what is not broke. Please go back to the good recipe so I can continue to use your product and feel good about refering it to people, otherwise I will be forced to buy a competitors product.
As a longtime Dawn user, the Simple Dawn looked appealing. A lot of companies are getting on the organic, simple bandwagon. This one unfortunately, a failure. It was so simple as to be non-existent as a dishwashing liquid. Suds lasted for about 2 minutes, and that's in softened water. Back to the drawing board, or remove it because it damages your brand.
