I've worn the same basic Anne Cole maillot since the 60's. Yes, I've had others but always come back to the best fit in the world, the simple sleek swimsuit that always works, great quality, great fit.
These classics are always in fashion They look great , comfortable fit, and make one feel both feminine and pretty with no frills. Can't go wrong with this suit.
I wanted to love this swimsuit for swimming laps. Unfortunately, it has not worked out. The design of the suit, with the formed cups and straight cut top, doesn't fit correctly and fills with water with every stroke. This requires a constant tugging to keep the suit from slipping down. The fit is wrong and the cups are uncomfortable. Very disappointed. It is a pretty suit that might be good for sitting around but not for actively swimming.
I still have mine and it's about 30 yrs old....yep, no lie. Only thing is that my bust has gotten a bit bigger...but I can still wear it in the pool.
This classic bathing suit in navy blue fits perfectly. The cut and no frills design are practical for the ocean or the pool and very flattering. I have this suit before and really love it.
What else can be said about this classic silhouette? My body type is curvy and this fits very well. I have an athletic body and was a competitive swimmer for 15 years, so this is about as close as I can get to a competitive swimsuit. I like the look, in Navy blue. I also wear like a bodysuit with shorts or skorts. All around, this is a winner. PLEASE do not ever stop making this style. I'd love to see the color option of a powder blue or periwinkle blue :)
Flattering, easy to wear swimsuit. Like it so much that I have it in navy, white, fuchsia and mint green.
Fabulous suit, but I had to return it due to it was to short. If you ever make it in long, id buy every color. Even two of the same color! I have a pool!
I have 2 black maillots, love them as well, they don't have the breast cup inserts though,this is a very nice change to the design for people like me who have headlights when I'm cold. Thank You!!!
I have worn this suit for more than 30 years in many colors and prints, size 8. I noticed a change in the sizing numbers, and ended up ordering size 6. It fits, But honestly not as well as my previous size 8. Perhaps should have stayed with the 8, although my current weight/numbers are on my lower range?
