I like the phone very much.The screen is big and can change pages very easily.I would like it if in the future they would install retinal identification and light changes with the face environment.
I am a non-electronic 'baby boomer' and had drug my feet about getting a smart phone. I am so glad I made the plunge with my Galaxy 2. It has been a painless learning process and I am just about as smart as my phone. I had never sent a text and it is so simple on my phone, I no longer hesitate to use it. I can hear very well on it and the few difficulties I have had were due to my lack of knowledge. Customer service is excellent and very patient and helpful. I would not hesitate to buy another or upgrade!
So far it has been the best phone I have ever had wouldn't change it. I like that it's big but not to big, very much like how easy it is to use you can see what your doing. Great job Samsung looking forward to your next big thing thanks.
I recently changed from Metro PCS to AT&T and I ended up getting the Mega 2 from the first Mega phone. The Mega 2 is just a tad bit smaller then the first one but I like the Mega 2 better.
Wow! The mega was a dream phone but I ended up getting the mega 2 I love it the new update that I received last week I've been waiting on the update so long I like how the messages are now and the notification bar and the incoming call screen and everything about this phone is so amazing to me I like it !
This phone is great, ive onlh had it for a short amount of time, but its wonderful. I believe that with a screen this size, it should be part of the note series... For the s pen. Some features i wish were not taken away were haptic feedback on the keyboard and the touch buttons, also they replaced the menu button with the task switcher, which i dont particularly like, but ill get used to it. If your buying this phone, your obviously buying it for its size. It is the perfect size for me. The faux leather back is a great touch also. This phone is a great improvement from the origional mega. I would recommend this phone to everyone.
This is the best phone I've ever owned. I love the large screen and the quality of the pictures I've taken with it. It's easy to maneuver and has a strong battery life. It has excellent phone reception and amazing speakers. I have recommended it to many people.
Happy to own this product Galaxy Mega 2 G750 or something... Anyway... The tech support through Samsung is as great as my carrier AT&T and I love them. So, when someone's happy with something? They say it's nice to express it! There! I shared! That makes me officially nice, and happy! "They" are happy! Everyone's happy! And you could be next!!!
Made the mistake of buying one. Bringing it back tomorrow! Smaller screen makes it less Mega. No IR blaster which I assumed it had. I used on the original frequently to control my television.. Seems less solid than last years model. I do not understand why it is less of a Mega that it should be in the time line of progress. Makes no sense. I love the original and was really looking forward a new model that would give a progressive appeal only to be let down by backwards engineering and omission of hardware and feature that made the original a warm success driven by an honest reputation of having more bang for the buck.Too bad this "new model" does not meet the same prospects that made my buying choice for the original such a pleasurable surprise. What a disappointment. On a positive note it is a bit more responsive than the original and the numbers in the specs do say that the screen is is clearer than the original but I believe the original had a fantastic display so I don't really see the difference.
we all have said this before...wow look at #2 3 etc of my phone..the screen is better the ram is higher...etc..this is the same case. the screen is that of a first run..720p? Why? With 4k on the horizon, 1080p is the standard now.. Most apps and videos are made for 1080p or higher..as far as ram... 1.5gigs of it is not impressive..not at all.. I expected a first run to have 2 or 3... There are galaxy phones running 4 gigs..this is very important if your a gamer.. Try running the best games with anything under 2 gigs, lag and crashes.... Overall..it makes no sense to get into a contract or pay 500 plus for an unlocked phone of this class... The ONLY advantage this has is the screen size for older crowds who have less than perfect vision...to9 them i say this: buy a pair of prescription glasses and keep the phone you already have..you will spend hundreds less. The mega 2 or 3 with specs similair to the gote 2 or 3 is more like it... still insist you need size now and cant wait for a phone worth your money?? Keep your phone and buy a galaxy tablet for 300... My 2 cents.
