Homemade sauces are wonderful, but can be time consuming. I am very picky about pasta and sauces, but this one was great.....not only delicious but cooks up in just a few minutes. I sauteed some mushrooms before adding the ingredients. It will not let you down!
This is a go-to at my house. Love many of the Knorr products (both rice and pasta), but this is my favorite. It's always been a great side dish but I recently discovered if I put some sliced steak (like Steak-ums) on top, it's a full meal. Tastes like stroganoff but without all the work!
I like this past and my picky eater does too. She asked what the mushroom bits were and I told her seasonings, and then she ate it all. I mean, seasoning is flavor and that is flavor, so I wasn't technically wrong. But this is a quick way to help bring dinner together.
no MSG but plenty of flavors. rich broth if mushroom. i prepared it with NO BUTTER or MARGARINE and just a tiny scoop of NON FAT powdered SKIM milk and it turned out JuST fine. reducing my carbs for extreme dieting to lower blood pressure and weight FAST. thank you Walmart associates and FED EX
Knorr… please never stop making this Stroganoff. Best ever. So delicious. Whenever we can't find it at our grocer, we panic and buy all we can find. Delicious and easy to make!
Have tried all of the knorr sides and this is our least favorite. Has a chemical flavor and disappoints in pretty much every aspect of what one expects for stroganoff. It gets better if you add a little sour cream and some mushrooms but I like to evaluate future purchases based on how these products perform right out of the packet. Will not be purchasing again.
This did not taste like Stroganoff at all instead it tasted like Beef Noodle instead I will not buy this again. I wanted the Stroganoff cause I added a cut up beef steak to it thinking I could make a main meal out of it cause I like Stroganoff an I was disappointed when it did not taste like it is suppose to taste instead of Stroganoff I got beef noodle I think someone at the company where it is made an package made a mistake an didn't put all the ingredients needed to make it Stroganoff or they put this in the wrong labeled package.
The website mentions beef fat as one of the ingredients and the package doesn't. Which is it? Such conflicting information makes it hard to trust the label info

I followed the directions for the Stroganoff to the letter, not adding any meat or vegetables so as to taste test and review it "pure". After seeing the soupy mess that resulted, I even got the packaging out of garbage to see if I had mis-read the measurements. I hadn't. This is more soup than pasta and totally doesn't look like the Knorr picture. I had to drain about 3/4 of the liquid to be able to eat it.
