Product was easy to install and works great. After researching several options, Wal-Mart was least expensive and fastest delivery.
I bought this garage door opener to replace my old one. It was definitely a two person job. The instructions are clear and it was installed in a few hours. It works very well and is pretty quiet. I love the price too. Not a bad product at all.

Bought this to replace a chain drive opener. The Genie is so much smoother and quieter. Installation was a breeze, I was able to do it by myself. It was a good price. I love the fact that it has to remotes, and they are small enough to go on your key ring.
Box was banged up like expected, a couple of small plastic parts, (screw drive guides), were broken, but installation went well and opener works great, thanks for the free delivery, it got here a day earlier than delivery date.
I have had two previous generation Genies for more than twenty years and they haven't missed a beat. I purchased this one as a replacement for my son's garage door opener thinking I would buy similar quality. This generation of Genie screw drive is so cheaply made. This example worked perfectly for one week, then became so erratic that it was unusable. Two calls to the tech line yielded long wait periods and still no conversation with a live person. I even left a call back number and no return call was received. I have returned this one for a refund. Genie garage door openers have slipped off my radar. I can not recommend Genie.
one night lost power when power returned geni screw type opener would not work paid 400 dolllars with instalation people had truoble setting it up went back to other brand that simple to work with for the same price
It already broke and we have to send it back.
