Nothing works as well as WD-40 for hinges and gears. I've tried substitutes when my budget was tight but I ended up spending more in the long run, especially because the included hose attachment with WD-40 allows you to get the product exactly where you need it. I should mention though that this is not the standard sized can I grew up with, it's smaller. But since I don't have to use it very often I really don't need anything bigger. It's THE best at what it does.
Multipurpose WD-40 has been used a lot in my home way before I was born. a classic that's been seen in everyone's garage for generations. I've used this product on so many different applications especially auto repair. I am currently trying all of there products and will be giving out my honest reviews. Thank you WD-40 for saving my rear end at times.
My refrigerator had been squeaking for a long time every time I opened/closed the door. As the sound got more and more annoying and intolerable, I finally bought this product. Man! It works immediately after several sprays, no more squeak at all! I wish I could get this item earlier! The only complaint I have is I thought there was a holder on the side of the can for the straw, but it turned out to be just tape, which is a bit inconvenient. Otherwise, highly recommend this!
If you want to be able to use all of the contents of a WD-40 can, buy the 3 ounce size. I now have four large size containers that I've used only once or twice and the nozzles won't spray the. contents. I'll never buy the larger sizes again. They are a total waste of money.
You've made how many things that you could use this with for me on my wheelchair so I could go around with a squeaking
Love the small size but unfortunately the straw was missing.
This stupid design is harder to operate and is easily breakable. I've used WD-40 for over 40 years and never had a problem. The formula is excellent for lubrication, cleaning hands, removing labels & stickers, etc. But, minutes ago with a full can, the up/down swivel mechanism broke and the contents are now unusable. Come-on, how hard would it be to "fuse" the original spray tube to the plastic cap? - A much simpler and less costly design. And as far as this up/down motion, I can more easily swivel my wrist. I won't buy any more of these until you offer a much smarter dispenser.

when I ordered it it did not have the size or the amount or I didn't see it it was so small and I didn't know that it was that smaller I would not have ordered it and the other thing is every time I try to order something on there that I really really need it's out of stock out of stock out of stock out of stock everything so if you try to keep stuff in stock you probably get more customers to buy more stuff make more money
I gathered together all seven cans of WD40 from my ranch and home and they all have quit working, most are still half or nearly full. I tried changing different valve sprayer nozzles, and nothing worked, even the can with the "Smart Straw" quit after only a few uses. Perhaps others on the Internet have had this problem.
