This is a PS3 charging station with adapter for PS4.
The charger is easier than charging with the cord, but can be tricky to get the controller on it properly. Really easy to pull the inserts out when removing the controller...
This works great at charging the PS4 controllers. Unfortunately the description does NOT say that this is a PS3 station converted to a PS4. I feel I did not get what I purchased.
This item was formally for a wand type controller (I don't remember the type). They repackaged it into a new box, made some clever inserts to "fit" in that spot. those inserts charge the controllers. The problem is, it's bulky and there is little in the way of keeping the controllers on the stand. They push in but can easily fall off if there is some movement on the same table/platform/shelf, etc. They were inexpensive and they work if you can live with the limitations. Had I known of the issues, I would have chosen something "better."
I will not order from Wal-Mart like this again...... This should have arrived before it did.....absolutely no reason all three things that were late should not have been shipped together so I had them for my grandsons birthday NOT the day after!!!!!!!
Inside the box is another box with a PS3 Move charger. It is very difficult to align the controllers correctly to get them to charge. The adapter pieces are too bulky to leave on the controller while using. At 1.5 Amps, this charger cannot handle two controllers at the same time and DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED.
Is difficult to get the controllers hooked on properly. It seems to me they took a controller base for the PS3 and retro fitted them for PS4 controllers. The little circular inserts in the controller base pop out too easily. It went back to the store and I bought an offbrand. Much much better.
