My hair is Fine and Thick! Over all my hair DOES NOT CURL! i have had my hair permed as a kid and it lasted 3 days and all my curls fell apart. This curling iron for the first time in my life I've had curly hair for 3 days and 2 nights, I curled it for a party and added a little moose and my curls have not fallen out! some of them are becoming straight but most of them are still amazing! And the silly 3 finger glove works really great! cant feel anything when i touch curling iron. The only annoying part is switching from right to left side of your head. You have to keep your hair the same direction as the spirals.
I found this tool easy to use and the spirals it made were really cool. I remember Ceramic technology used to be so expensive and now these tools are totally affordable. It got really hot really quickly which is nice when you are in a rush in the morning. It has 3 settings which is a nice feature and comes with a protective glove so you don't burn yourself. I have another curling Iron but I definitely prefer this one because the quality is really nice and my curls are way prettier than when I use my other tool.
I used a regular curling iron for years, so switching to an iron that doesn't have the clamp took some getting used to. Instead of the clamp you hold the hair in place with your fingers which are protected with an interesting heat glove. Here are the pros and cons... Pros: No overheated hair ends, I saw a clear difference with the texture of my hair since using the iron. It is fast and the heat adjustments make it easier to adjust to the perfect temp. Cons: No more styling with 1 hand. I usually drink coffee or multi task while giving the iron time, but you cannot do that with this curling iron.
This curling iron did do a nice job curling, but it wasn't easy to use. I found the spiral rod got more in the way than helped. However, my coworkers really liked how my hair was when I came into the office. Also, using the right styling products also helps get and keep the results you want.
This is a good styler, however it was a bit a pain to use oon not quite staright hair. You would have to have you hair comed through exceptinally good to be able to get good curls, so not so thrilled with the product.
I used a regular one of these wands, but my thin hair slipped a lot. I saw this one and thought it was a great idea. It does keep your hair in place, and the curls came out okay, but my hair would slide under the spirals and get caught, stuck and then pulled out as I tried to get it free. I lost more hair in one curl than a week of brushing. That's when I stopped and decided i'm going back to get the regular wand one.
