This is a very nice keyboard, and the features have been very useful. However, it is not as much of an upgrade from my old YPT-310 as I had expected. Pros: Real time filter adjustment Great sound quality Looks nice Cons: Only 61 keys A bit heavy Not many more sounds as similar keyboards
I am an amateur guitarist. I bought this Yamaha keyboard to help me learn music theory, and because it is always fun to mess with a new musical instrument. What I did not expect was to find myself spending hours playing with the YPT410. There are so many good sounds in it, and with the built-in rhythms and accompaniment anyone can sound good with just a little practice fingering chords with your left hand. One star off the overall rating because the AC adapter and sustain pedal are not included. Also the low power and small speakers don't do justice to the quality of the sounds. Use headphones or an external keyboard amp, and the sounds are really good - MUCH better than competing Casio products. I give this keyboard a thumbs up - if you're looking for a budget 61-key touch-sensitive keyboard, check out this Yamaha. You won't be disappointed. -Gnobuddy
