This is our first "real" keyboard after using a really good toy one for years. I am thrifty so I like to do my homework and read the reviews. I read every one on this site as well as several other sites, and this was the best value for a superior product. The piano sound is very real and all the extras are just so much fun. And the whole experience of ordering it site to store was so much easier than trudging through all the brick and mortar stores.
Bought this for my husband and he is loving it.
I bought this just for doodling around on, playing hymns, etc., but it is much more than I expected. The sound is great, there are many different styles or voices to choose from, from grand piano to flute, violin, etc. And the piano sound really sounds like a piano. I love it, and think it is a great buy. Much less expensive than buying a full size piano, takes up less space, it's portable, and sounds great!
Everything works and sounds great ! Far exceeds my expectations !
Outstanding Value
This keyboard is better than a few casios I've purchased by far. The sound quality is incredible, reverb & grand piano features along with so many other features. Whether you're an avid fan of the keyboards or someone who likes to tickle the ivories and have fun I would highly recommend this set.
this is good product for learning at a good price
I went out to try and buy a cheap keyboard. I saw this one was a little cheaper than the Casio $120 one, and the other Casio one for 99 has been out of stock for ages now... I didn't need the headphones or the stupid software, so I went with this one. I was very dissappointed with the keys: they are not piano-like, but that keyboard style "half keys" where the actual key cuts off to allow for room. While this doesn't really hinder playing, it makes it feel strange switching between the piano and my new keyboard. Other than that, it's a decent keyboard, but if you want something piano-like, pay the extra money and get something with proper keys.
