The Yamaha YPT330 personal keyboard is a touch sensitive instrument that features a total of 497 dynamic, authentic voices, including 361 XGlite voices, 13 drum kits and a sound effect kit. The Yamaha YPT-330 personal keyboard also has 106 accompaniment styles and 102 built-in songs. Music database with 100 songs-for instantly setting entire instrument to match a desired music genre. Special two-track Easy Recording feature lets you record and save up to five of your original songs - great for composing and practice purposes. You can practice the preset Songs using these lesson functions: Keys to Success, Listening, Timing, Waiting and Phrase Repeat. Keys to Success helps you master a Song, whereas Listening, Timing, Waiting helps you first master the timing then playing the correct notes. Had it six months now....a marvelous machine, better sound quality than my Winter piano. Bells and whistles I still haven't even sampled. Headphones are great too. Readout is easy on the eyes. The only thing I have to warn you about is that keyboard stand. Pay absolute attention to every move you make in the assembling of it. Look very closely and line up the parts on the floor exactly as you see them in the directions. Note the distance between holes and ends. There's one right way and many wrong ways! Also mine had an incompletely punched hole -- sort of a hanging chad. If the screw won't go through, you might have a hanging chad there! You can punch it out with little effort, but you can't move it with a screw. If the completed stand is crooked or uneven -- you did something wrong! Stand is adjustable to different heights, too. But putting it together was rocket science! Overall, very glad I bought it.
My 10 year old niece is really enjoying all the features and functions of this device.
