It was time for Geoman's Metro to get a 25th Birthday paint job and this Rustoleum sandable primer helped prep the body. Dents were filled and this primer covered bare metal perfectly, sprays evenly does not spit out and nozzle does not hurt the fingers like the cheaper ones sometimes do, important after a day of bodywork. The Birthday paint job looks great by the way.
small spot on my hood the paint field and it was bare metal so I sanded it down with some fine sandpaper and use this primer so it wouldn't rust worked out well
The is the perfect primer for building model rockets. It fills in the small swirl lines in the tubing and is easy to sand giving the body tube a smooth base for your paint.
covers minor imperfections. might take more than one application and sanding smooth. repeat until desired finish is acceptable. wait 1 day the primer, wait 5-10 minutes then color. if you desire clear coat get it applied after the color all done within 1 hr. After 1 hr. you need to wait several days before adding additional coats. otherwize the new coat will cause the previous coats to delaminate causing the dreaded paint wrinkling. Note, some brands of paint may have different instructions. Always follow brand instructions. Except Rust-Oleum. if you have to wait to apply additional coats, its not 48 hrs, it's more like a week .
This primer is exactly what I needed. I make wooden cars and all kinds of other decorative things and primer is an important part of finishing my projects. Also for automotive applications. The fact that it can be sanded and fills small scratches is a great feature
I purchased this filler primer for use on 3d printed models to prep them for painting. It is perfect and smooths out any minor imperfections! Sprays smoothly and coats nicely.
Great coverage
I use Rust-Oleum products quite often and am satisfied that they perform as well as advertised. The primers apply easy, generally dry fairly quickly, and are sandable.
I use this on 3D prints. Make soothing much easier.
Rust oleum is a great product. It only makes sense that Walmart would handle products of this quality.
