I bought this in black thinking it would have better coverage than the competition. Wrong. It goes on like a stain and doesn't dry. Very unhappy with this product!
I bought this to paint a dining room table. I sanded and primed and then I should have abandoned this paint when the first coat almost beaded up on the primer. After 24 hourse the paint is still tacky. I live in the desert with near zero humidity. There is no way this paint should take so long to dry. I felt like I was locked in so eventually I did a second coat. Gambler's fallacy. I should have abandoned my efforts and bought another brand of paint.
Oh my God, I have never used such a horrible paint! I needed to do a black trim around the staircase of my basement, so I didn't want to get a whole gallon mixed. When I saw this, I thought, perfect. When I applied it, it drew away from itself in several different spots. No matter how careful I was, it dripped badly, ruining the paint job on the wall. Cleaning up my skin later, it stained me terribly and would not scrub off, still there days later. A second coat on the areas it drew away from did absolutely no good, even after I sanded which was very hard. now I have to figure out how to remove it so that I can repaint. Need to find out how this guarantee works, but AI am taking this back for sure.
Paint seemed very thin. After two coats on plywood, dark grain underneath was still quite visible. It will take at least 3 coats to cover. I also had some of the MAXX green that covered a little better then this yellow, but still seemed to be lacking. I can not recommend this product.
Using to paint my bathroom vanity the Quart barely covered the wood. I had to do may coats just to get coverage Not at all what i expected. Poor coverage. Paint Color White
Without a doubt the worst paint I have ever used. I was attempting to use this product to paint a metal bulkhead. All bare metal was primed prior to applying blue COVERMAXX. The results were terrible. After two coats, the coverage was very thin. I gave up. If I was to guess, it might take 10 coats to achieve adequate coverage. I will never buy this product again.
I am mainly complaining about the new Cover Maxx spray paint. It might look prettier but its still no good!!! I redo furniture for a hobby, and do a two-tone style, natural wood, and spray paint parts as well. I use to use the cans, that you brush on, but that wasn't good, then I thought the spray paint would be a difference, but nope still very dissatisfied! Then the can changed so I thought maybe they improved like they said, nope. When the can is half empty, it starts to come out in a bluish kinda glazed sheen, and it would come out in drops after that. The over all durability is maybe a 3.
