Cumbus Aluminum Body - LargeBlemished

BLEMISHED: Aluminum replacement body part for larger cumbuses. This includes the head and the tuning ring. The cumbus is a relatively young instrument. It was developed in Istanbul in the early 1900's. The inventor, Zeynel, became known as Zeynel Abidin Bey. The famous Ataturk Mustafa Kemal, Turkey's first president, dubbed it combos (pronounced joom-bush). Cumbus is Turkish for revelry, just the mood this instrument inspires. Our cumbuses are imported from the Family shop of Zeynel Abidin on Ataturk Bulvar in Istanbul. Important Specifications: Item overall: 12" L x 5.5" H x 12" W Body/Bowl: 12" L x 5.5" H x 12" W Body: The body consists of a spun aluminum bowl with cast aluminum ring. Area for strings to attach is located on bowl. Soundboard: Clear synthetic head with 20 sound holes
