My daughter was having a hard time transitioning from our bed to her crib and I noticed her previous mattress was very springy. We went with Serta because we have one ourselves that we love. They did not disappoint! Her new crib mattress is so much better quality and she sleeps so comfortably on it. She hardly wakes up during the night and when she does wake up in the mornings shes much happier. All in all we absolutely love this mattress. I should have purchased it so much sooner. Dont overlook the importance of a quality crib mattress, trust me your babies can tell the difference!
We’ve got this mattress couple of weeks ago and we absolutely love it! My son sleeps much better since the first day of using it and I couldn’t be more happy about it! Highly recommend.
I received my serta night star deluxe perfect firm crib toddler mattress and I cant say enough great things about it. First of all its a SERTA so you know your receiving the best quality. The mattress is light but firm, its also waterproof and you know thats a must! I love the Serta Sheeps on the mattress, it makes me feel,I got the right one. Its a Deluxe that means they put more love into it.It has extra layers of insulation for better sleep, Also once you transfer from crib to toddler bed you can count on Serta!
We love this mattress. We have a few months until the baby comes and getting ready. Love that it has the vents for freshness and the stain resistant party. Makes it for easy clean up soon. I can tell its very well made.
This mattress was a perfect fit for my little guy. He says its "so Comfy" and he cannot wait to sleep in his new bed. The mattress is firm which makes it safe for babies, but also soft enough for my toddler to enjoy it. Its also waterproof which make this choice even better.
I Was transitioning my child from a crib to a toddler bed, the Serta Nightstar Deluxe Firm Crib and Toddler Mattress fit perfectly. It provides support for the child, as well as a comfortable mattress to sleep on. It can be used for both crib and toddler beds which saves money. You can continue to use your crib sheets, which also is very convenient. It is sturdy, and very well made. It is easy to wipe and clean if accidents at night or nap time occur. I am very happy with this mattress, and my son likes it on his "Big Boy Bed". I would highly recommend this mattress, Serta is known for their quality products and this is no exception.
This is a good quality mattress and a nice value for money. If you are looking for something in a reasonable price range of $100, this mattress is a great choice. Being a standard size it was easy to fit in our DaVinci Emily Crib and was pretty lightweight to move around. The weight of the mattress and fit inside the crib is very critical when it comes to changing sheets. This mattress is not very tight inside the crib and is lighweight so no issues in lifting, moving etc. The waterproof vinyl covering is a huge plus as it saved us from buying an extra waterproof mattress pad. With the air vents and 190 spring coils, mattress is sturdy enough to endure the jumping of a toddler . We plan to use this mattress for our infant grand-baby in the crib (when he gets here!) and we're sure that it will last a long time. The rest of the plan is to use it in a toddler bed when the baby gets big enough to come out of the crib. .
This mattress was selected due to its 120 heavy duty coils. A firm mattress was needed for this toddler bed application. The bed frame has a crossbar midways across it and it was feared that a light-duty mattress would not provide much comfort – especially if it was mostly foam. It appears there are three layers of foam between the outside cover and the coils. This ortho-insulated layer gives additional support to where an adult cannot feel the coils beneath. The outer cover is a very light blue color with little white lambs outlined on it. It is definitely a firm mattress. Since it is needed for an active child, one who likely will be bouncing, jumping and hopefully sleeping on it, those extra coils will come in handy. The waterproof cover is highly prized for its sanitary value. The informational literature shows a 25-year limited warranty. A “Natural Fire Barrier Protection” that meets or exceeds all federal flammability standards might be handy in case the child gets a lighter or matches. Weight-wise, it is not a heavy mattress and will work nicely in the cheap little toddler bed for which it is intended. It came sealed in a heavy plastic sack within a cardboard shipping carton and I can hardly wait to put it into that cute little bed.
Best Mattress- super high quality and non toxic. The firmness is perfect. My daughter has been sleeping better since using this mattress. The price was great too.
I'm not your typical baby mattress shopper. This was to replace / update guest room baby beds for company use-- frequent but not daily use. Fortunately this arrived while guests were here so multiple adults were able to give comments. Child users will be from 6 months to 5 years but all low weights. FIRST- the mattress arrived in perfect condition-- solid, undamaged well taped cardboard box with the mattress inside sealed in a heavy poly bag-- spotless and odorless and the usual tags. IT IS MADE IN THE USA!-YEAH!! That was not mentioned in the advertisement anywhere that we could find-- IT SHOULD BE!! It was opened with care to save the heavy bag for later use [ storage, moving, etc.] We put it on the floor for an initial comfort test-- 1 child and 4 adults from 120-250 lbs tried it and ALL found it very FIRM. None of the adults liked the hardness-- but babies need firm beginning surfaces they say-- so not a real concern. It will have a padded mattress cover and sheet anyway. It was completely waterproof and will be easy to wipe clean when needed. The cover was soft blue and completely quiet-- no crinkly sounds like some plastics and no sound from the coiled inner springs. The mattress is an easy to move 20 pounds-- not the 6.2 pounds listed in the ad. Squared corners fit snugly into the crib/bed area with no corner gaps for a child to catch a hand or foot and at the same time will keep bedding snugly tucked in place. It also has 4 vent holes to allow mattress to breathe when jumped on! At the $99.99 [current- 1-28-2016] Walmart price it is a little higher than some other retailers-- but it was shipped free-- so that makes it somewhat more competitive. It was recently only $89.00 and baby items seem to fluctuate a lot! So the main concern was the FIRMNESS-- babies may not be concerned-- an older child may not like that--or require extra padding=extra expense. It is however-- very well made--stitching was perfect--easy to clean, waterproof fabric covering was tight and unrippled--size was perfect for a snug fit in a standard size crib. It also fits a toddler bed very well. I'm a happy Spark reviewer and the other parents who saw it thought it would be a reasonable price for many years of use.
