I switched to a Tracfone after leaving Verizon about 6 months ago. So far, I have loved it. I had issues with my previous carrier with fluxuating bills each month. I am going to purchase the same one for my boyfriend for Christmas, I know he will appreciate spending about a third of what he does now each month....
Great phone, great price. I like the slider better than the base model. Always accidentally made calls from the buttons being pushed in my purse. Great value and meets my needs.
It is no surprise to see the high ratings on this phone. It is super stylish and get top marks in the looks department but it also works well. Always reliable with signal, I don't know if it the handset or Tracfone's exceptional coverage but I seem to be able to use this phone almost anywhere. Call quality is really good - great sound and I have not had any dropped calls since getting this phone. That in itself is truly fantastic. Definitely recommended.
I live in an area with poor reception and needed a phone to call out from the house in case my land line goes down. TracFone is working fine; also contains a camera & web access. Easy to add min. online or direct on the phone if you have a debit or credit card; or you can purchase time cards. The deal with purchasing from Walmart doubles every min. you purchase.
This is a good phone for kids, since it is very durable. I like this phones abilitys, but i do not like the style of it! Its a good phone but its not very stylish, thats my only porblem with it. Other wise its perfect! I would recommend tracfone to anybody. I like how its pay as you go and if i put sixety minutes on it using a card it gives me 130.10 minutes. if i put 60 minutes on it throught the tracfone website it boostes it to 90 minutes and adds another 90 minutes, maing it 180 minutes total. If you are lucky and they send you a promotianal card they will give you another 100 minutes added onto your double minutes!
I really like this phone. I think it is a great deal for someone on a budget. Being unemployed I need to be really money conscience so this phone worked out for me. I like the slider feature of this phone it makes it compact and easy to store in my pocket. Also you cannot beat the tracfone service because its pay as you go and you do not need to get a contract. Would recommend you but this phone.
I needed a cheap phone for my business calls so I bought this one primarily for use outside of my home. I use blutooth while I work so I need a phone that has blutooth support so I got this one. It was cheap and I get double minutes for increased airtime. This phone has a 14 day standby time which really comes in handy because I always forget to charge it. I use just under 400 minutes a month so this phone works out great for my budget. Other than that, if anything happened to the phone it wouldnt be too much of a sweat because I bought it for about 30 bucks. Would definitely recommend.
Not a bad phone for talking. My one major complaint is my battery life is pretty bad compared to previous phones I've owned. I virtually never use the phone, it's here for emergencies, but it needs to go on the charger every night in order to stay charged. It did meet my end goal which was to cut my cellphone bill in half. If you're not much of a talker, you really can't be the tracfone pre-paid plans.
I've had other tracfone's before, so I am aware of the so-so customer service. I do not like having to be locked into any plans, so that's why I choose to use the pay as you go phones. This phone is ok, when its working. I notice, that from time to time, there is a symbol on it meaning that I wont get calls, even though the phone hace plenty of service bars on it. The last time this happened with another tracfone, customer service told me to shut the phone off and on. Luckily, this isnt a phone I depend on, because if I was expecting calls, there are times I'm sure people arent reaching me. Overall all, its an ok phone for the price.
I ordered this phone because this site said it would work in my area code...and it doesn't. It was supposed to be a gift for my daughter's 16th birthday. I bought the protection plan and minutes planning to surprise her, except to find that I had wasted my time because the site information was wrong. The phone would not work in my area, so the protection plan was a waste but, was refunded due to the error ( plz lord don't let her younger brother get ahold of it) Tracfone graciously offered to replace the phone with another model with half the features of this phone, provided i mail the first phone back but, regardless it wouldn't be here on time to present for her birthday. Before ordering any phone it needs to be directly checked with the manufacturer or service providers website first, so that you can avoid this kind of catastrophe.
