This was just what Walmart said it would be and does just waht they said it would. I would recommend this to my friends.
The voice command is awesome and the charging time is great. I would recommend that if you need a phone to stay in contact w family and friends and save big to buy this phone like I did.
The phone is good as well as the connection. Got one for my wife and one for my dad. The activation process was easy. The sound quality is excellent.
its really great for a pay as you go phone. i would highly recommend it. the only thing i did not like was the day after activation i started getting lots of telemarketers calling me on it. they obviously sold my phone number to them. who wants them calling especially on a pay as you go phone.
The lower cost per minute coupled with the fact that they round DOWN makes this the best deal for us. We are now living overseas and this is the phone we use while home in the US. It's real simple - it does what it is supposed to do and it does it for a (comparatively) low price. Look no further, this is the one you want.
I bought this phone about 2 months ago and I love this product. The rates are so cheap, and the features are pretty basic, but better than other basic phones. Must buy, bang for your buck.
Great basic phone at a low price to try out a new plan.
Have owned this LG 101 phone for about a month now and it is a pretty good phone for $10. It is a tad small but pressing the buttons on the key pad is not a problem. For some reason at times, I hear an echo (repeat of my voice) when I speak to someone else. Overall it is a great value phone and with this Common Sense service it makes it a $15/month operating cost since I don't use that many minutes.
Ha! Sucker,I got you with the one star! everybody wants to read the bad news, never the good. But, theres always good, too. Money saving build quality, however, a good phone that hooks up suprisingly well on sprints network here in S.California. Battery life was short, as expected, but reasonable for a small phone. Beware, though, of the "delicate" female sleeve that receives a 2.5mm headset plug. Yep, this ones not bluetooth and eventually the hole "widens" (or splits...yikes!) with frequent use rendering it ineffective. The reason, I think, we evolved out of these years ago. Something to remember for people driving in states with "hands free" traffic laws like mine. It does have a loudspeaker, but, it's not the same. My bluetooth headset would have been great with the Lg's VOICE DIAL system. Just lock the phones buttons, and drop it in your pocket. The lack of this feature kept it from a full 5 stars. Maybe they'll resolve this in the next one. "Good In a Pinch" email access almost makes up for it, even without a QWERTY keyboard (gmail, yahoo, etc.). It has games, too... o.k. who cares. If handsfree use is not a big concern of yours, you'll enjoy this phone. If it is, maybe spend more money and step up to something else with bluetooth. Overall, for the price and the signal, It's hard to knock it. Cheap phone, cheap service, most of what you need and nothing you don't. =I
I would NOT recommend for a light user. I wanted phone for talk only, no texting or web access needed. Of the first $20 dollar / 30 day card purchased w/ phone I had used only about $10 talk time, still had another 10 remaining, but phone was inactivated when 30 days up. Paid another $20 to reactivate, thus giving me now a $30 balance for another 30 days. Of that $30 balance in the second 30 days only used about $7, leaving me $23 balance--and again phone deactivated when those 30 days expired (again, with a $23 POSITIVE balance). I asked CommonCents/Sprint for an adjustment--they refused. I asked "How does this plan make any sense?".. "your website says "no contract; no nonsense", this Plan is no sense any way you want to spell it." They still refused to do anything. Asked them if they'd rather do something to keep me as a customer, vs have me as an unhappy ex-customer -- It made more 'sense' for them to have me as an unhappy ex-customer. I would NOT recommend this phone and plan for someone who is a 'light user,' nor would I recommend CommonCents/Sprint as a company to do business with. I would give this zero-stars above if that option were available.
