Great phone for young adults, teens, or techies

I have been using LG phones for the last year, so I am used to the quirks of LG. I went from a LG Xenon that I have dropped, stepped on, dropped in water and it still works. I decided to get another LG phone and retire the little Xenon. My contract wasn't over, which is why I went with a pay as you go phone. It saved me a few hundred. This phone is definitely better! It's very organized and simple to use, gives the user a lot of feedback. The camera is decent, even despite its lack of a flash. (This is coming from a photographer). It's very user friendly and reminds me of an iPhone (but BETTER!). It has an option for applications, quick features and wonderful graphics. I immediately ordered a hard shell and screen protector (which got here before the phone did!). The only complaint I have is I paid $9.99 for 2 day, expedited shipping and it took exactly a week to get here.

Bought this phone a few days ago, to replace my ancient smart phone. I must say I'm impressed. First, I put in my old sim card, had immediate service, no trips to AT&T or long calls with customer service. Very easy to use, has awesome battery life (had it for 4 days and just lost one bar on my battery), everyone says I sound crystal clear on it, and I can hear them better now than I could on my old phone. The $50 that was credited to my account minutes after turning it on was nice too! Overall, a great phone for the price.

My son had an ATT touch phone that we bought from the ATT store. Had problems with it within a month. Didn't have a guarantee with it and didn't want to sign another contract. So I bought the Prime LG from Walmart.com and saved $20.00 from store price. Great deal!!! And my son loves it!!

love this phone. I went and picked it up from the store instead of waiting on it to be shipped. I love it. The radio sounds great and my husband said it even sounds better than my previous phone. I bought a 4gb memory card and I was able to add over 100+ pictures and I still have plenty of room for more. I also transfered all my music from my mp3 player and the sound is great. So far couldn't have made a better purchase. Oh and by the way it comes with 50 mins/dollars of air time.

I was needing to update my 5 year old Go Phone. This phone came with everything I needed (AC charger & new Sim card). I took it to my local AT&T store and they were more then happy to help me change over to the new phone. The phone also came with a $50 minutes credit that was credited to my current Go Phone account. Nice to have all of the extra money/time so I've been able to play around learning what my new phone will do. The automatic voice recognition is a bit tricky, but does work. The phone also has blue tooth which I needed for hands free communication, it works well with my blue tooth unit. The touch screen is a bit touchy I've found it's best to keep the screen locked. Scrolling is also touchy and it's easy to initiate a call that I didn't mean to do. I'm sure with practice I'll get the hang of it. I wear hearing aids and had concerns as to whether I would be able hear well enough on a candy bar style phone...I've always had flip phones which worked better for my hearing issues. I hear great on this phone. This phone is very user friendly! I love it! When you deduct the $50 minutes credit from the total price of the phone it's a very exceptional phone cost value.

I purchased this for my 16 year old nephew for Christmas. It has a become a permanent attachment to his hands. He loves it. I am going to purchase another one for my aunt because of the large screen. She is 78 and wants to learn how to text, so with the full key board she will be a pro in no time.

I bought this phone for my daughter and she loves it! The touch screen feature is great and easy to use. We have down loaded music and pictures to this phone and installed an extra memory card on the phone. The camera takes great pictures. The keyboard is large and easy to use. Love the phone and it is a great value too.

Good phone and service

I purchased this product from a Wal-Mart store this past week. The phone I bought came with 50 prepaid dollars and 90 days of service. For $98.88, I think it was a great deal. The service in my area is typically quite poor for cell phones, but this phone or combination of the phone and the AT&T service is the best I've seen in my area. So far, the only negative thing about the phone is that the touch-screen sometimes seems a little testy. Maybe it is just me, and with a little more time I'll get more used to it. Overall, it's a great deal for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money every month for a contract service plan. It just allows you to pay a minimal amount, especially if you buy a $100 card, which gives you a full year of phone service! If you don't use a cell phone all that much, or just want to have it for an emergency, this is a GREAT way to go!

Overall it's a good buy. My first full touchscreen so I got to watch out how I touch it. I already made some easy mistakes but I'll get use to it. But, I never got that $50 so airtime credit this time around. I've been a gophone att customer a long time and this is the 1st time this has happened. So if you're gonna need that extra credit watch out!

LG Prime

I thought this was a great deal for the price. I've owned the LG Prime for approx. 3 months and have had numerous problems with the phone already. Anytime I went into a dead area the phone would go into "Emergency Only" mode, and get stuck. I would have to turn the phone off to get it to recover. Now just recently, the touchscreen stopped working all together. All the side buttons work, but I can't get into the menu, or even retrieve any of my text messages or phone numbers. And there is no cure, but to buy a new phone again! The service is great, and I hardly ever went without a signal. AT&T has great service, but the LG phones are junk! I've learned you get what you pay for! And I'd rather pay for a good phone that will last, then keep forking out $100.00 for one that will break in 3 months or less.
