i was told this phone doesnt get very good signal , but i get full signal every where. good phone,very clear people can hear me as well as i can them
I recommend this phone to anyone who needs a "tougher" prepaid phone. I've dropped it in water, and it's lived . . I've dropped it from 20 feet and it's lived without a scratch. . .it however didn't live when it got ran over, my bad. The reception was good for me, as long as I was outside (but I expected this. I live in a very wooded/country area) And it worked almost 99% of the time for me wherever I was on main roads and back roads. The only thing which bothered me about the phone before I broke it was texting. It uses the internet unlike most phones to text, so your phone would slow way down and you couldn't send texts while receiving, or open your web browser. you have to buy your ringtones for this phone, which whatever. I didn't need fancy ring tones. Boost costumer service has always helped me much more than any other prepaid service has. And, they speak clear english. You can only set pictures YOU take as your wallpaper. I didn't know this either, but it's whatever.
bought boost mobile and $50 monthly phone card. phone worked 6 days came up no service. very helpful walmart associate placed a call from electronics department and let me talk to boost customer service (at least that is what they called themselves) rep. no help, said phone was bad. exchanged for new phone. still no service for next day and night. exchanged for straight talk phone. worked perfectly. tried to get refund for 24 days service i did not get. guess what since i "canceled" service i could not get, i was out of luck. for your own peace of and to hang on to what ever money you have, STAY AWAY FROM BOOST MOBILE
I have had this phone for about 8 months,It is a junk phone for many reasons.....It is slow to respond as you push buttons on the phone,The internet is the most slow and the worst service i have ever seen on any phone. The back of the phone comes off far to easy,Oh not to forget i spent over 80 bucks on it 8 months ago and i don't believe it was worth more than 10. So i would save your time and money and look for a phone that wont give you so much trouble.
