I chose this phone for my wife after reading positive reviews for it. It is on the Veizon Network which is a great sell for us. We owned Huawei M865C phones before this. They only lasted 4 months and left us very frustrated. This phone is sold at a very reasonable price and works fantastic.
Hi, I purchased this phone for myself & i absolutely LOVE IT! I have full signal everywhere that I go, even on the old country back roads & I didn't have that with my contract phone with Sprint. The phone is user friendly and I love the $30.00 month plan that I can get with it. Battery life is good. I had my number switched over to Straight Talk & it only took about an hour & my new phone was working. I'm very satisifed with the phone & the service. I did order this phone through Walmart, I went to the Straight Talk website & put in my zip code & it didn't even bring up this phone in my area. Walmart offers more phones available to you. Switching over to a no contract plan is the best decision that I have made!!!!
I had a samsung touch it was a junk..I rather stick with a phone that has a keyboard. The reason I decided to get this phone was because I had and older old similiar to this one and I was in love with it..ever since my phone was broken in accident I have had trouble finding on similiar to it until now...I really recommend this phone...it has all the features you would want..
I got this phone for my daughter for her birthday. She text a lot ,And it works great for that ! It holds a charge for a longer time than her previous phones ever did from Verizon. She gets service everywhere she goes and at home ,and she sounds clear when talking to me on my landline,there is no crackling,or background noise ! Most importantly, she loves the phone too,and she has been through nearly a dozen phones in the past 4yrs. so her opinion should count for something . It's an excellent phone for a nice price too ! And it was shipped way faster than even promised. It's her Texting Buddy !!
This phone is awesome for it's price. the only thing that disapointed me was it doesn't vidio rcord, which is no big thing. It plays mp3 it loads apps, it tells you either the number or the name preset in you phonebook vocally before it stats the ringtone! It surfs net nice! Samsung has continued to not disappoint me!
Just got it one week ago but I guess the only problems I have so far are battery life and size of the keys. These were pretty much the same shortcomings that I read in a few other reviews. I don't do much internet on the phone so calling and texting are pretty easy, thats what matters to me the most.
I was looking for an additional phone for myself and a gift for a family member. This product was affordable for the existing options; it was easy to setup, work with settings, navigate and activate. Great buy--good product!! Just wish other options, other than $30 and $45 refillable options, were available from StraightTalk!
I haven't activated it yet. Waiting for current contract phone to expire. In playing with it i found the camera to be pretty bad. Everything must be totally still which is hard to do with a phone. It's very basic. I'm used to having better phones because we did the verizon two year contracts and got them free. Only paid $50 for this one so i guess you get what you pay for. It's seems fairly simple to use and will be fine for now. I miss the extras my old phone has but won't miss the huge bill.
I like straight talk so far they have been good to me, but this phone wouldn't charge. I plugged it in and left it to charge over night and it didn't. I turned it on a few times and it would say charging then it would shut off. So straight talk is good but not happy with the SAMSUNG R375C
If you are planning to use the mobile web at all do not buy this phone. It wouldn't even load facebook. It kept giving me a message that the page was too large to load. Other websites I got the unsupported content error. I was very disappointed and exchanged after 1 day. If you just want a basic phone that plays mp3's then this phone would do....and make sure you dont have fat fingers.
