Love this phone!

I bought this phone over 3 years ago and love it, especially the REAL keyboard. I've had no problems whatsoever. It is so simple to use and reliable and always has signal (my husband's smartphone frequently drops calls and mine never does). It fits my needs perfectly.

Great Phone For The Price!

I've had this phone since December, (about 6 months now), and I love it! It's a great feature phone. The touch screen is pretty good, camera takes decent pictures and the keyboard is really easy to text on and is very responsive. People complain about "internal memory problems"...which can EASILY be fixed by doing a software update on your phone. There are videos of it on YouTube. As long as you keep your software up to date, you'll be very happy with this device! I definitely recommend it to someone on a budget who wants something more than a boring flip phone!

Good Basic Prepaid Device With A Few Nice Extras

I made the switch to Verizon for one reasons, their coverage area. As someone who lives in a rural area for part of the year and in a city for the rest of the year, I had to find something that would work in both places. You can't beat the coverage that Verizon offers their customers. The LG Extravert phone was the most like my old phone, and since I liked that phone it made this one an easy choice. The Good: ~Nicely laid out QWERTY keyboard (although may be a bit small for larger hands) ~Three home screens that allow for some customization ~In Case of Emergency contact with room for notes ~Good Alarm Clock ~Excellent signal ~Media center for apps, mobile web, music & tones, and pictures & video ~Not a horrible camera--but don't forget to take your real one for those super important moments ~Micro SD slot (although it is under the back cover--terrible spot) ~Plan with unlimited talk and text The Bad ~Plan is a little more expensive than other ones that offer the same thing ~Touch screen isn't always the most responsive. ~Slider keypad sticks a bit ~Phone's back cover makes it very slippery. This is not even funny, it's extremely slippery. However a cover should be all you need to fix this. But you will want a cover, it's that slippery.

I have had this phone for about 3 weeks. I love it. the bluetooth works wonders with my car. I just get in and say who I want to talk to. It also plays my music from the phone over my speakers without any wires. Love that feature. The camaras not that good. but no problem using the text. the only thing I wish it had is talk to text. but that's what I get for going with a basic phone.

So, this phone doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles, but it has been a decent phone for the last two years. I've always kept this phone in a case, because it feels too slippery without one, and it's extremely sturdy. I've dropped it a few times (usually just falling off my lap or something like that), but it doesn't have a ding on it. I also use it with a screen protector. Early on there were some issues with picture messages not being the right size, but I think that was a Verizon issue that was fixed... Other than that, I've really had no significant issues with the phone. I've used it mainly for texting, talking, as a calendar, and as an alarm clock, and it's served me very well. Only recently have I had issues with the touchscreen not registering when I press something and the "m" key on the keyboard either not working or typing too many "m"s at once. But that's only in the last couple of months. The battery life also used to be about a week. Now it's down to 2-3 days with moderate use, but that's expected from an old phone, anyway. If you're looking for a decent, no-frills phone, then this is a great choice.

It's not the best phone there is but it's not the worst.I have had this phone for a pretty long time and, i have had some problems with it some times it will turn off by itself for no reason and the battery life is not that bad the internet is kinda slow and it will crash some times and once you have it for about 8 or 10 months when watching videos it will pause and beep in the middle of videos the memory is not so bad but for music you must have a sd card or it won't work for music the pictures it takes are great and videos but when sending a video you can only send about 15 seconds the apps are poor except for 2 the daily scoop and the V cast song ID are great and if you want to buy this phone a case it is very hard to find one i personally did not find one and the phone over all has met my expectations.

If you are looking for a simple phone for a child, elder, or someone who just wants a simple phone, then this phone MAY work, though there are definitely better options out there that are as cheap. The keyboard isn't that good, and the touch screen is essentially useless. The camera is also really bad compared to a lot of other non-smartphones. It will also turn on by itself if in a pocket, and will also activate "voice control" by itself as well. Fortunately, I recently upgraded, but a year and a half with this phone was very irkish to say the least. My older flip phone seemed to work better than this. (Note: Not all LG phones are like this from what I have heard, and they are still a good company)

The "touch" scroll feature is so frustrating, I literally HATE this phone. When texting, if a phone call comes in, the text is lost if call is answered. When texting, if a picture message comes in, the ability to receive the photo must be cancelled or you have to stop texting until the file send has been completed. You can forget seeing a picture and reading the message sent with the photo. Hitting the keys with the exact amount of pressure is necessary or keystroke is repeated numerous times OR not recognized at all. This is the most frustrating phone I have ever owned. The querty keyboard is a nice feature. The voice feature may as well not exist - it rarely understands the name I say when searching for a contact to dial. I will be very happy to never have to use this phone again.

Do Not Buy This Phone!!!!

I purchased this phone Feb. 27, 2012. That being said I've had it replaced twice! Battery, phone, charger.....TWICE!!! It charged fine initially, (within the 14 days that you have to return it) than it basically sucked the last bar out and shut off. And would not turn back on. And it slips out of your hands when you slide it open and the camera doesn't take even mediocre pictures. I babysit for my grandkids and need a working phone, thank God I kept my old enV2. Never again!
