AWESOME PHONE!!!!! I bought this phone this week.. and so far i like it, because it run on verizon. So far i am satisfied. up grade from the lg900g which run on at&t did not work to good in my area.... Super fast !! no problem verizon network work great. The battery does not last long, charge up every night.
Got this phone a little over a week ago and so far its been great! I use it everyday and haven't had any issues yet, other than the battery is not very good but what do u expect when you got the net and lots of apps. You can get 2 stock batteries and a charger on ebay for 18 bucks which im going to do and car charger was 5 on ebay as well. Was able to transfer my phone number online straight from verizon, said it could take 12-48 hours and not even 2 hours later phone was ready to be used with my old number. I suggest getting this bundle cause its the same price as the other one of the proclaim but hey you get a free 10 dollar lunch gift card. I also suggest getting walmarts extended coverage plan because its good for any damage to the phone for 18 months and only 39 dollars. Most apps u can download for free and everything about this phone lives up to a smart phone.
Wow! This is the best phone I've ever owned! I still can't believe all the things it does, and for $45/month you can't beat it! It gets great reception on the verizon network and the 3G is so fast. I had been wanting an android on ST but was unaware until recently that one was available that used verizon network. The lunch on us gift card is very easy to redeem. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase! No regrets!
Very pleased with this phone so far. Ordered site to store and it arrived in 3 days. Not a techie but pleasantly surprised about how user friendly this phone is. Used my online account and transfered my ST # to this and it only took about 1 hour for the transfer of service. Fast and touch screen is very responsive and easy to use. This phone uses the CDMA network (Verizon) and service is excellent in my area. I loaded the Juice Defender app first thing to help conserve on the battery usage and after 24 hours the battery is still at over 50% with moderate texting/browser usage.
I ordered this phone Site to Store and it arrived in three days. I upgraded from the Nokia E71 (and I'm very glad I did!#. My service transfered from the Nokia to this phone in less than an hour. I haven't travelled with the phone much yet, but it runs on the Verizon network, so I would think that there wouldn't be problems there. Over the two weeks I that have had the phone, I have had no problems whatsoever. There's no freezing, no problems loading apps, etc. The touchscreen is responsive. Web browsing is very fast. All games work well. There is a talk to text feature, which is spectacular. The phone syncs well to my car. Talk/voice quality is good. The only negatives I can think of are that there is no flash on the camera #although you can change picture brightness after taking the picture) and the battery life could be better. At the end of each day, the battery is almost dead. That being said, I have no problem charging my phone on a nightly basis. Overall, I would highly recommend this phone and am very happy that I upgraded!
Best phone I've ever owned. Loving it. Never owned a smart phone but this one is the best because it runs off of verizon towers and it's straight talk unlimited. Best of both worlds. Only had it a couple of weeks. It's the best. Only down side is the battery. Doesn't last through a day. About 5 hrs. But overall great.
I think the Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy Proclaim powered by Verizon Wireless is a great but the web access is a bit lacking due to lack of network availability but phone service has been excellent. I love having the web and phone service without having to pay Verizon Wireless for ala cart prices. I was a Verizon Wireless customer for 7 years!
This phone and the coverage area are insane works GREAT!!!!! When I did all of the activation I was talking to Verizon you get the unlimited airtime, texts, Data, its the best crystal clear and super super fast. This is the best smart phone I have ever used and the cheapest its so nice to talk when you want to who you want as long as you want....GREAT DEAL
I have had mine for about 3 months now, it is everything you would want an android powered phone, there's no double camera, but you can turn this thing around... come on!... there is no flashlight, but you can download 1 from the app store that works just fine. I always have a signal no matter where I go, internet speed is fast on network, connected to wifi it's lightning fast. in fact I'm using it to write this review because I have nothing better to do at the moment. you will not be disappointed. and for 45 dollars a month you will not find a better deal
I ordered two of these phones, one for myself and one for my husband. We were both looking for an Android phone to replace our old StraightTalk phones. We chose this phone because it was the only Android offfered by StraightTalk that uses Verizon towers. I mostly use my phone to listen to music. It does come with a 2gb SD card but I had to purchase another SD with more space to hold all of my music and pictures. Overall, this is a great starter phone for anyone who has never owned an Android before. I did have some trouble transferring my number with StraightTalk but the issue was resolved quickly and the phone itself worked fine.
