I recently purchased this phone online through net10 and couldnt be more happy, I had always assumed that going prepaid meant less phone options and i would be limited to older model phones with less features, I couldnt have been more wrong if you like the flexibility of prepaid but want the same great phone with excellent features usually reserved through major phone carriers I highly recommend the galaxy proclaim
It has the best features of any phone I have ever owned. It gives you options like switching from the front keypad to the qwerty keyboard, more memory storage, hidden USB port for SD memory card, better photos. The possibilities are endless. You've got to check it out. I've never seen anything like it. Keep it up.
This phone I like better than my buddies iphone 4s. My stepdaughter has a Galaxy 3 and Discover is just as good a phone as the Galaxy 3. Highly recommend this phone.
This phone is just as good as every Samsung phone that I have ever carried. I purchased it to use on Straight Talk and was impressed with it's performance from the very beginning. I would recommend this phone to anybody. As a matter of fact, I convinced a couple of other people to purchase one for their son.
For my first android phone this is great. It's easy to learn since it's a lot like my friends and families phones so they can show me on my phone. Also, plenty of help on website. The battery runs out quickly but from what I've heard they all do.
It does almost everything i want it to do except connect it to my computer. The only way i can get music on this phone is to take the SD card out of the phone and put it in the multi-drive SD reader on the side of my computer. The USB connection only charges the phone, when the mass device or charge only options pops up on the phone nothing happens just charging.
I enjoy everything about this phone except for two issues. 1. It has an enormous appetite for power. I can't go 24 hours without plugging the phone in for a charge. I did not buy a smart phone to not use the WiFi. data or have a screen so dim I can't read it. I should also ad this is just having the phone sitting on the counter not using it, I can only imagine if I make a call how fast the battery will drain. 2. Cannot change the notification tone for messages. If I can put in my own ring tones, why not a notification tone. The choices on the phone are pitiful.
This phone has no future for OS upgrades, NO Ice Cream Sandwich, and NO Jelly Bean. It is currently and most likely forever will be a Gingerbread phone so if you’re cool with that, then you should be happy with this phone, if not don’t waste your money it is not worth your time.
Lost calls, freezes up, constantly needs charging, charger needs replacing, calls on speaker unclear and hard to hear, unable to upload pics, turns itself off for no reason even with a full battery, looses internet all the time and mobile data is worthless also
I like the phone overall, but suddenly in the 8th week of use, my phone only lasts 6 hours WITH NO USE on the battery. My girlfriend has the exact same phone, bought at the same time, and she doesn't have the same trouble. We swapped batteries, and I still have the same problem. Straight Talk's solution is to send me another (used) phone, but I am supposed to send mine first. This means I could be without a phone for up to 2 weeks!! BAD PHONE!
