I had LG Optimus Elite from the same Virgin Mobile carrier (which this phone is no longer available from them), but it used Android 3.2 OS. I could not download the mobile Chrome browser on that phone to sync with my other devices that could use Chrome. I was using Firefox browser instead for the same reason I wanted to have the Chrome browser for. Then I came across this new Virgin Mobile phone, which I think replaced the listing for the other phone. This new phone I have has been great!! It runs Android 4.1.2 OS (compatible with mobile Chrome browser), has a decent front facing camera (the other did not) and back camera with flash, boots up much faster than the old phone, and best of all, has an extremely good lasting battery life!! It looks nice too, with a nice polished grey back. My only major con for this phone is that you only have 1.24GB on internal memory and you can't run or save apps to an extra micro SD card for more storage. This con seems prevalent with many Android phones/devices (a technical way to fix this on some Android phones is rooting/hacking it). Some other Android phones/devices allow you to run or save apps to an extra micro SD card (w/o rooting) I believe. If your content with having certain apps on this phone, it is a great buy!!
I have used IPhone and Galaxy 1, 2, 3 and 4. This phone works fine. It sometimes will be a little slow on response where the Galaxy seemed to work faster. The phone is not very heavy and easy to understand. The screen can be sensitive and send off a chain of events that you will have to wait to finish before continuing, but that can be easily remedied. I think if you are looking to buy a phone and NOT spend a lot of money, it's totally worth it. I was paying monthly for a service plan that wouldn't cover anything and came with a heavy deductible...this is better. You can buy service for $14 TOTAL and if you drop it, sit on it or whatever ...there is NO deductible and you get a new phone. Much better than ATT, the service is great and the price is right. Peace
I PURCHASED THIS PHONE FOR MY 12YR OLD DAUGHTER. SHE LOVES IT. IT OFFERS EVERYTHING SHE NEEDS. THE VIRGIN LG OPTIMUS F3 ALLOWS ME TO CONTROL SPENDING WITHOUT CONTRACT. THE PRICE WAS GREAT. ANY PARENT LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION THIS IS IT.
I started up with Virgin Mobile about a year ago and purchased the Kyocera Rise Phone. I did not like the kyocera so I decided to purchase a different phone. Best decision ever!!! This phone is faster, easier to read, better camera, better sound, and really easy to navigate and very light. This phone is perfect for anyone wanting a smart phone but doesn't want to spend a lot of money. This phone was worth the price and more. You can't beat Virgin mobiles plans either! Oh, I almost forgot, the battery lasts a whole lot longer than the kyocera rise which was a huge plus!!!! Get your LG today. Walmart had the best price for this phone compared to Amazon, Virgin Mobile website, and Target.
I upgraded from a problematic Optimus V and this fixes all of the gripes I had with it. It's smoother, runs faster, can run all the apps I want, and more. This is an incredible phone for the price. I paid $80 for this and can't believe the value. I only have one complaint and that's no auto-correct - you have to do it manually, so it's taking some adjustment. I still really like this phone and don't regret buying it!
Have only had phone for a couple of weeks. Still learning new things it does. Really like the phone so far. Only trouble I am having is trying to figure out how to move apps to SDcard that I had to purchase separately. It doesn't move them like my old phone. Phone is light weight and has good battery life.
I am very happy with it! I was concerned about the ease of typing on a screen because I transitioned from a Blackberry style phone with a physical keyboard. The screen is very senstive and accurate. The predictive text fearure is plenty intuative. It was on sale via the website and with in-store pick-up I had my new phone in just a couple hours.
I Seldom Used My Old Cell Phone But The LG Optimus F3 Phone Combined With The Virgin Mobile Unlimited Plan Has Me Using It Very Often. I Get My E-mail And Search The Internet Much Easier Now!
This phone was great for the money.....and holds a lot of data.....sleek design and we love it! Good quality when talking, texting, pics, downloading work well!! I know people with 4g phones and a lot of times their call gets converted to 3g so I don't think its a bad thing having a 3g phone....look at your bars if you are not sure...and the VIRGIN plan is great for money!
I got this phone for myself but mu hisband fell in7n love with it, then my daughter wanted oneol..I just ordered two more. I have seen this phone for 3 x more money..you will not be dissapointed ! I didn't give it 5 stars only because I wish it were slightly larger.
