We bought this for our teenage son, this is his first phone and he is thrilled. It set up easy. It took less than 10 minutes and the service is good. My husband is thinking of buying one for himself.
It worked great and had lots of apps that my grandson liked . Case was very nice .my daughter even said she would like to have one of those .ive always had good luck with items from Wal-Mart online orders
The phone itself is in mint condition. It came with the earbuds that looked brand new. Had a new charger cord and adaptor. Now the problem. I received a phone that somebody must have bought and returned. The phone had restrictions (parental controls) enabled with a pin code already chosen. This meant I couldn't download any apps from the itunes store because the previous owner disabled the feature. It also meant after 10 failed attempts entering the passcode wrong the phone would automatically lock, erase itself, and literally turn into a brick. The answer. The answer meant I had to restore the phone to its factory condition using itunes on my laptop. Once I download itunes to my laptop I connected the device and proceeded to restore it to factory conditions. This erased the restrictions code and gave me access to alter the phone as if it were new. The phone had now problem upgrading from original operating system to the current operating system. Unlike android Apple seems to support legacy products. I would definitely buy this again.
A couple year old iPhone for $150 when straight talk is selling the even older Galaxy S3 for $180, not to mention getting a flagship phone for the price you'd usually pay for a very low range phone is epic. Shipping was smooth and surprisingly efficient for Walmart
I am new to Apple and its IOS. I am 72 and I was reluctant to tackle the process of learning a new gadget. Nonetheless, I am finding that using this device is quite intuitive. A link to every answer is always there on the screen; you just have to look for it.
I finally got my first I-phone ever. It works great, I've had no problems.
I don't know why people pay hundred's of dollars for brand new iPhones. Refurbished ones, that are usually only 1 model older, are just as good! My last phone's screen shattered and it would have cost at least $50 to replace and it was a 4s so I decided to spend a little more and get a "new" phone, which was a model newer! Thanks Straight Talk/Walmart!
this was a 8th grade graduation gift for my son. it is his first phone so we debated on getting a phone through Verizon or doing straight talk. through Verizon it would have been about 75 bucks a month this is 45 a month. so far it has worked great. he only complained a few times about not having service in certain areas but that is just how it is where we live. other than that, everything seems to work great and im actually considering going to straight talk myself.
Why pay new iPhone prices? This iPhone 5s is incredible. It arrived on schedule and looks as well as operates like a brand new phone. We switched over from an old LG Straight Talk phone on the Verizon network to Apple and the AT&T network with no problems whatsoever. The SIM card setup was easy, the online switchover was easy and the final activation and deactivation from Straight Talk took about an hour. One recommendation though, do your homework on the cell towers in your area. Do not rely only on the zip code search from Straight Talk. My town has some issues with each carrier in certain locations. Talk to those living in your area for feedback on their phone and reception then confirm with Steaight Talk which carrier your phone will work with then select appropriately.
